Chinese herbology is the science of combining plants or other substances for healing purposes. In China, herbs are decocted for patients in hospitals to act in unison with drugs and other Western interventions. Chinese herbs reduce the side effects and the necessary dosage of medications, providing a synergistic, cost-effective and less invasive solution to management with just medications alone.
Massage is an especially powerful adjunctive treatment to acupuncture in cases that involve pain due to soft tissue disorders and biomechanical dysfunction. Myofascial release, deep tissue, and a variety of physiotherapeutic techniques are employed for problems like chronic back and neck pain, joint problems, sports trauma, repetitive injuries, and postural imbalance.

Hugh is wonderful! He has helped me SO much with an autoimmune disorder and I have seen significant improvement, substantiated by both my medical tests as well as symptom improvement. He always has a great attitude and is very open to listening to you.

I met Hugh when I was suffering from a back strain from a rock climbing injury. As an athlete himself he knew just what to say and how to treat my injury. In no time I was back outside enjoying climbing pain free. Give Hugh a call!

Hugh is an amazingly competent acupuncturist, not to mention he also is a great masseuse. I have gone to him for about 10 years, off and on, for various injuries and problems and I really trust him as a doctor - he really knows his stuff! He also is honest about if he thinks acupuncture will help and how many treatments is might take. One of the best experiences I has was doing acupuncture for menopause- it really truly helped with all my symptoms and took it down from 100 to 20 in terms of the how the symptoms felt. I highly recommend Hugh!

I've also been heading into menopause for a couple of years, completely miserable.. Needles and herbs have helped greatly!!
Thank you, Hugh!

Hugh is awesome at Acunpunture!!! Very knowledgeable about explaining everything involved with Acunpunture... Fair pricing.. I went in there with very acute intense pain lower back and glutes... The first treatment was really good but challenging due to my pain level. Went back two days later for second treatment and my body really released the pain.. I highly recommend Hugh for Acunpunture!!!!!

My son was having lower back issues/pain due to being in high school football. My son had done stretching and other things but nothing was helping. We went to Hugh to see if he could help him. After one treatment my son told me that his back pain had been reduced to almost nothing. My son was a little unsure because he had never experienced acupuncture. However, after his treatment and how kind Hugh was he was no longer hesitant. I highly recommend Hugh, he is very knowledgeable, compassionate and most important listens to your health concerns.

I believe Hugh is one of those rare practitioners who can combine deep massage work and acupuncture in a synergistic way. His skills are enhanced by his knowledge of Western medical conditions, making me feel quite safe while he places all those tiny needles in my "acupoints". He is my go-to guy when my back blows out, which has saved me from having to take nasty pain killers.
Awesome! Check him out if you are in pain, for sure.
