Traditional Chinese Medicine is an extremely precise and complete medical system that has been continuously practiced for over 4,000 years and currently treats more than one third of the world's population. Traditional Chinese, Ayurvedic and modern allopathic medicines are the three major medical systems in the world today.
Chinese herbology has existed since prehistoric times. The earliest known records are attributed to Shen Nung, 3494 B.C. The ancient Daoist monks left detailed records of extensive herbal studies aimed at finding "elixirs" to provide a healthy and long life. These lead to many theories about herbology (the Shang Han Lun, 206 B.C., etc.) Today, the basis of most common formulas often dates back 2,000 years or more.
Acu-Point Injection Therapy involves injection of sterile solutions into traditional acupuncture points. Traditionally, the use of Chinese Herbs were used for this type of therapy to enhance the overall effectiveness of the acupuncture treatment. Today, with the difficulty of getting FDA- approved herbal injectables, we use mostly sterile FDA- approved homeopathic solutions like arnica, trameel, zeel, and others including saline and b-12.

7 months prior to my first visit to TCMC I had regularly seen physical therapists, chiropractors, and massage therapists in an attempt to ease my neck pain, inflammation, and discomfort from a mountain bike crash late last year. After just two visits to the clinic, I spent weeks completely forgetting about my conditions because of the total absence of my pain. Caring, professional, incredible! I’ve been going for several years, because acupuncture has kept me walking, when others told me I’d be in a wheelchair. They customize the herbs to give me the best possible support. They’ve also done cupping to improve circulation, which is really helpful. Their kindness is amazing.

I have had a very good experience with the clinic staff and my personal staff member. I had never utilized Chinese herbs. They have changed my life. I had done Acupuncture prior to becoming a patient at the clinic. I have been going to Traditional Chinese Medicine for three months now and I have never felt better. Not only did Lindsay Herrera Kaplan fix my foot so I could get back to walking daily with no pain she has worked on my hips, back and shoulders. Monique, Dayna and their team are absolutely the best! They help me with multiple issues. I started going to Them a few years ago for back problems.
