Lincoln Animal Hospital first opened in September of 2012. From the beginning, Lincoln Animal Hospital has helped its clients celebrate and enjoy the special bond that is shared with their pets by providing professional veterinary care in an atmosphere that is honest, compassionate, and friendly. At our Animal Clinic, we help people while treating them as our friends, and help their pets while treating them as our very own.
Dr. Frances Acevedo is originally from Ponce, Puerto Rico. She received her undergraduate degree in Animal Science from UC Davis and her DVM degree from Kansas State University in 2010. She shares her home with a pug mix named Scrappy and a crazy Vizsla named Reagan. In her free time she enjoys traveling, going to Crossfit, and taking her Vizsla to agility classes.

My friend recommended me this animal hospital and I couldn't be happier. I have been taking my French Bulldog here since he was 4 months old. The staff here has been very gentle and knowledgeable with handling him. They have been able to answer all my questions over the phone and in person. They don't try and up sell you on anything that isn't necessary. I trust that Ace is in good hands here.

Honestly, I've been hesitating to take my 15 year old dog in... because she can go any day now.
My dog had a sibling from the same litter, that we brought in to the clinic in a Fullerton. That same visit they discovered a lot of issues, therefore, we had to put him down ... It was our first experience putting down our pet so it was truly heartbreaking.
With that said, I was super anxious and overthinking about everything bringing my brown 15 year old dog in.
The staff and dr was so kind and considerate. They thoroughly explained her current health issue and gave us options on how to treat

Big shout out the staff! They do such great work. We are new here and will not go anywhere else. They are so caring and you can tell they love animals. Please do not take your pet here. They will not give quotes over the phone haha.. I was so shocked at how much it cost to neuter my dog going in for pre labs and the actual procedure cost DOUBLE other places.. please call around and get pricing before you look here, every other place will gladly give you an accurate estimate over the phone. I honestly felt so scammed, will never be coming back here again.

The doctor and staff were great. I wasn't able to be accommodated at first, but after expressing the urgency of the matter with my dog, they made an exception for me and helped me right away.
Prices are high, as is almost every vet or animal hospital, but they were honest and helped my dog to feel better.

I do not know what Mooncake C. Is talking about. The employees are people of integrity. Their service is great. They deserve every cent they make. If you feel like you're getting ripped off then you don't deserve them. You get what you pay for. I've never had a problem with them as they always fix up my Bobis' tummy aches *pic. That review was unfair to the hard working staff and inconsiderate.

Actually I will give 0. My daughter brought her dog here for vomiting. He has pet insurance. Nationwide is willing to pay but they need a diagnosis. They did all the work up and all they can tell me is that there is no diagnosis!!! Really I am a healthcare provider if we ask for test or diagnostic work up we have a presumptive diagnosis in mind as to why we are requesting those test and work up. Then you charge me an arm and a leg for nothing!!!!This is a hoax and they told me unfortunately the VET who took care of my pet will be on leave for a month coz of a surgery!!! Yeah right very timely

Last month I had to euthanize our 13 year-old golden retriever Ronan. It is such a difficult and sad thing to do as he was a part of our family for over 7 years following rescue adoption. The entire staff at Lincoln Animal Hospital was professional and empathetic. They allowed me as much time as needed to be with Ronan to say my goodbye and explained each step of the process. They also sent a sympathy card signed by the entire staff that arrived at my home several days after. Thank you for your professional and caring service.

Yesterday was our first visit for our new pup Walker. This place isn't allowing the pet owners to come into the clinic due to the pandemic. That initially made me nervous, but the staff here was very caring so that eased a bit of nerves. We stayed in the parking lot and the vet called us on our phone to give us the results of his exam which was great. We decided to opt for the "puppy package" which included all the vaccines plus deworming, flea treatment, exams, stool test, food sample, and even nail trim. During the wait one of the staff came out and brought out a cart of snacks

Things did work out for Robin Hood as it would happen and he's in a loving new home. Very thankful that this vet was able to place him with a rescuer that found him a new family but the stressful day that he left me won't change sadly I cried all that day because of the fact he was my mom's dog

I'm appalled that my daughter was overcharged today for a Cytopoint injection. Her dog Alice gained 4.5 pounds since last injection so they increased dosage. 40mg =$21.39 per mg. They gave additional 10 mg and charged $66.50. She was overcharged $45.11. This is beyond unethical and she should be reimbursed. BEWARE of overcharging! These vets take advantage of our love for pets.

I recently adopted a new kitten from an animal shelter and decided to take him to a vet that was closer to home. The difference between there and Lincoln Animal Hospital was very apparent. I decided to cancel my second appointment with the other vet and schedule one with Lincoln Animal Hospital despite it being a lot further from home.
I'm very confused about the negative comments who say the receptionists are rude and the veterinarians

I have brought all 3 of my dogs here and have always received the BEST service. This place is so good and is always busy (testament to how great they are), but that doesn't stop the staff from giving the best care. I brought my Leila in today for her updated vaccinations and was taken care of by both Monique and Jessica. They were super friendly and personable and made sure I knew everything that was going on with Leila. Sadly this used to be my favorite vet but recently has gotten so impersonal it's such a hassle. From new fees to different techs giving different instructions I have had numerous occasions recently with my dogs and cats where conflicting information is given. They used to have an amazing office manager/ front desk staff and now it just seems like everything is a fee. Really bummed because we loved this place but looks like we will be finding a new vet. Dr Acevedo is the best thing about this place and the only one with patience

I've been to many veterinarians due to relocations, and this place definitely is impactful. It was our first time here with our brand new puppy, and it was also our first time going to a vet while we stayed in our cars in the parking lot. The process was for sure different, but we never felt lost or confused on what was happening. We felt very welcomed, straight forward, prompt, and most definitely loved the snacks they offered to help kill the time. The doctor was super friendly, very patient with us and our questions, and helpful. We were recommended to go to this vet and we now know why

These people need to get their act together. We showed up for our appointment at 8:50 for our appointment at 9. We then were told we didn't have an appointment. Kind of infuriating and unprofessional. Then I get a text saying I missed my appointment. Talk about incompetence. I have three cats and three dogs. I would never step foot in this place Doctors are just as incompetent probably if they hire incompetent people.

The doctor seems great but I don't trust the front desk AT ALL! They are mean and unnecessarily rude. I took my dog in days ago and I have emailed them and called them several times just to get the prescriptions and they have been blowing me off because I'm not buying them from them. It's outrageous! My poor dog is suffering because they are too "busy" to do their job! Sorry but I just spent $275 for what?! Don't be rude to me because I'm asking you to do your job.

I just took my dog Timmy yesterday for shots, exam, and nail trim. I loved this place. The veterinarian called to tell me how he was doing and a few things I should invest in the future. He asked numerous times if I had any questions. The staff was nice and organized. They knew exactly what to do since it was my firs time going.
I am going to be bringing my golden retriever to them in October for her shots and exam. Thank you so much.

I rescued a kitten, I adopted my kitten when he was six weeks old. He is now five months old and on Tuesday I took him to Lincoln Animal Hospital to get him established with a pediatrician 😂 I am beyond happy with my choice to take my kitten, Toby, to Lincoln Animal Hospital. Everyone from the receptionist to the doctor and everybody in between were kind, gentle, professional, informative, efficient, caring and just sincerely amazing! I would give 10 stars if I was able!!! I could only wish that other companies were even half as efficient as Lincoln Animal Hospital!!!

Dr Lee and staff took great care of my older dog, who had a swollen sore paw. They didn’t over charge and even took the blood work results from another vet (done 2 months ago) so that I wouldn’t have an additional fee. I would recommend them.

During this quarantine, a lot of hospitals weren't taking in pets due to booked appointment slots so after hearing from my cousins, I chose to visit Lincoln Animal Hospital.
After going to another vet for some time now, I wanted to stick with that one even though it was a little bit of a drive for me BUT, I'm so glad that I checked this place out.
My brother originally brought in my doggo, Chandler first because he was in need of medical attention.
They were very friendly & kind. They provided us with all the medication and information we needed to take care of Chandler.

We have our three kittens going there now and we really like the attention they receive. We also like that the doctor calls us and spends time listening to our concerns and answering our questions. I think the quality is amazing but that's also why it's a little more pricey than other vets. Our favorite staff is Melanie and Doctor Acevedo. They're super nice and always helpful.
Some of the things that I think could be improved would be the wait times. Even when appointments are made we still have to wait a while. Maybe schedule more time apart between appointments, allow only emergency walk-ins
