Wonderful place to stay! Scott the owner is a great guy and takes good care of his people. The rooms are nice and clean and Kelly makes excellent hot dishes for breakfast every day. Been here with my wife many times and love it!

Scott ( the owner) is the most welcoming host! 😊 I make my reservations months in advance, calling Schooner Bay Motor Inn directly. This year I made it a year in advance. Can’t go wrong if you stay here

Best free motel breakfast ever! Delicious variety of quiches, eggs, muffins, fruit, yogurt, everything. Travelled with dog so we were on the first floor. Clean. Only complaint is the window treatments didn’t block light. Staff very friendly & location is convenient.

The place is under construction. They'll take your reservation then move you to another hotel. They gave us a hard time about canceling a reservation that they couldn't honor in the first place. I'd like to give it 0 stars, but the app won't let me.

Smelled like smokers lived here. Bed sagged in the middle. HOWEVER, we reported it to the owner, and he said he would look into it. THE HOMEMADE BREAKFAST WAS OUTSTANDING. Free breakfast included 3 different casseroles of egg/spinach/sausage variety, homemade muffins, orange juice, coffee, homemade pastries, etc.

Charming motel! Room is kind of like staying in your grandmother's large and very comfortable guest room. Bed was comfortable. 2 comfortable swivel rockers. Everything very clean. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful with homemade quiches and pastries, fresh berries, the usual cereals and breads to toast, good coffee. Wonderful place to stay our first night in Maine!

We happened upon the Schooner Bay Motor Inn on our roadtrip through Maine this past September. The owner / person who manned the desk gave us a detailed rundown of what to do around Camden and Rockport, drawing a map and dictating the sights that we should see. We didn't get to all of them, and were particularly bummed that we couldn't get to Mt. Megunticook, but we were thankful for all of the advice.

We had a room up on the second floor. It was a nice room with a good sized bed. As it was one of many stops on our trip, the bed did exactly what it needed to do -- provided us with

Great spot! We checked in, were given a map and some highlights in the area, and sent on our way. Our room was well kept and felt comfortable. We didn't make it up in time for breakfast but were told it's made fresh every morning. Would definitely stay here again!

This place is BEAUTIFUL. Pricing is reasonable, and the rooms are very clean. While there are the typical hotel furnishings in the room, there are nice touches like large antique dressers, chairs, and nicer paintings on the wall. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was nice but it ends far too early, and the dining area is not comfortable at all, with high tables and stools. I knocked the table with my knee trying to hop up onto my seat and spilled coffee. Not good. Otherwise, the stay was pleasant and comfortable.

Stayed here in the middle of November 2013. Lowest cost room found on line in the area. Saturday night and there were plenty of vacancies. Breakfast is no longer being served, (past season) but the room was large, clean, warm, with small refrigerator, flat screen tv, and free wireless. For $65 we had a great nights sleep on comfortable beds in a clean room. No complaints.

I booked this through Bookings.com for a three-day stay and was not disappointed.

The price was very reasonable, given that this was Columbus Day weekend, and many of the other hotels/motels in the vicinity proclaimed "NO VACANCY".

The amenities are basic, the breakfast is basic (don't expect eggs or sausages here), but the price is right, the location is very convenient.

The room was VERY clean.

I had asked, by email, if it was possible to have a mini-fridge in the room, and they obliged. At no extra charge. Heck! They even responded to my email! Which is more than I can
