Dan Flack is the owner and lead inspector of SkyView Home Inspection. He worked for several years in fields that gave him behind-the-scenes glimpses into the home buying and selling processes where he saw that clients were often treated as numbers rather than people. Drawing on his skills and knowledge, Dan decided to change careers so he could better support people in real estate transactions.
Every Residential Home Inspection performed by SkyView adheres to the strict Standards of Practice laid out by ASHI. Sellers who have their homes inspected before listing them for sale have the advantage of repairing any damages before potential buyers see the home. By repairing these damages ahead of time, sellers make the house more attractive to realtors and buyers.

Dan was fantastic to work with! Not only did he catch many issues that would have caused headaches later on, but he went above and beyond, tracking down the super to make sure certain items were addressed immediately (eg. unfinished roof right before a record-breaking snowstorm!)

I’m in the process of buying my first home and was referred to Dan by a friend of mine. Dan was excellent from start to finish with this process - returning my phone call quickly to schedule, arriving on time, performing a thorough inspection while taking the time to talk me through different aspects or helping me learn to change a furnace filter, then staying up late to email me the detailed report immediately afterwards. Dan has been friendly and eased my mind with this part of the process. He even scraped snow after our cars after he was finished with the inspection! Great guy, does a phenomenal

Dan Flack is absolutely amazing to work with. I work in the industry and have worked with many different inspectors in the past but Dan was the most thorough and thoughtful. Every detail was pointed out with pictures in a report that I can always reference. He took time to show me different things about my property, and what to look out for. Also, he would further inform me about my home to make sure I am fully aware of every little detail. Not only was it great in person but the report was super easy to read with pictures, and he re-capped it with me over the phone just to summarize everything

Dan was very thorough, pleasant, professional, and personable. I could go on about how amazing he was and the work he did. Working in maintenance in the past and knowing the things I knew helped and he even pointed out things that I had no idea about and was able to describe to others the thing in the inspection without them having any knowledge about the subject. Great guy all around and would definitely use him again if need be and refer him to others for their inspection needs

He took the time to explain the items that needed attention and treated the entire process as if he was buying the property. I appreciated the detail and the explanations of items of concern. Dan was amazing. He was extremely thorough and even called us the next day to go over the report line by line. The platform used to view the report was user friendly and helpful in determining which items were important to ask for, and it including DIY links for the minor items. I highly recommend Dan as your home inspector. Not only was he extremely professional and pleasant to work with his attention to detail and thoroughness was unparalleled. He conducted a radon study, sewers scope and home inspection on the home we are purchasing. If you are looking for an honest, detail oriented and kind home inspector look no further. His prices were more than fair and worth every penny. He reviewed the home as if he was looking for his own family to live there and it absolutely showed. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.
