The vision of Smart Orthodontics is to create beautiful smiles that will bring value to, and better the lives of our families and friends, all while maintaining the highest level of customer service in a fun, caring and professional environment. Periodic intervals ranging from five to ten weeks are set to ensure the progress of your orthodontic treatment.
Dr. Danette Smart has set the standard of excellent orthodontic care for over a decade. She began by earning her undergraduate degree at University of Toronto and went on to complete her dental education at Howard University, College of Dentistry. She then completed a general practice residency at Montefiore Hospital in New York.
Cecilia is a DA II assistant. She has been dental assisting for 10 years and has been part of the Smart Orthodontic team for three years. She is a native Peruvian and she is bilingual in Spanish and English. Charlotte has been her home for the past 18 years. She loves what she does and feels blessed to be a part of your dental family.

These clear aligners allow you to adjust your smile without drawing unwanted attention to your teeth.
Begin brushing the outside of your teeth with circular and vibrating motions. Next angle the brush downwards so you can get between the gum and brackets of all of your teeth. Finish by brushing the inside of your teeth. Flossing is very important and should be done at least once a day. Use a threader to pull the floss under your archwire.

Dr smart does pretty good work will not discredit her there, but just know if your not her favorite client and if you miss even 1 appointment she will bad mouth you to her colleagues and every time you call in or go in people will have a snobby attitude towards you. Spent to much money to be turned down for a follow up appointment (mainly cause she doesn't like me) but she said she couldn't take me due to new management. There are plenty more black orthodontist I would suggest supporting before coming here!
