Dr. Valeriano loves spending time with his wife, Kelly, and their two daughters, Hailey and Brooke. Although he grew up in Long Island, New York, when he arrived in Chapel Hill for dental school he knew immediately that North Carolina would be his new, forever home!

Dr. Valeriano has been creating confident, long lasting smiles for over 15 years. From children, teens, and adult, Dr. Valeriano creates individualized treatment plans and partners with you every step of the way to ensure you are receiving not only the best care, but the orthodontic experience you deserve.
At Valeriano Orthodontics we recognize that every smile is different, so we create custom, individualized treatment plans for everyone. Traditional metal braces are no longer the only orthodontic treatment option out there. While we offer traditional braces, we also offer Invisalign clear aligners, the Damon System and Acceledent as excellent treatment alternatives for our patients.
Dr. Valeriano earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology at the State University of New York at Binghamton, and went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Valeriano then spent a year in hospital residency at Stony Brook University. After two years of general dentistry, he realized his true passion, creating beautiful, healthy smiles.
You can straighten your smile without brackets or wires! Valeriano Orthodontics is pleased to be a Provider of the Invisalign clear aligner system. Invisalign, an alternative to traditional orthodontic treatment, utilizes a combination of digital images and computer software to create a series of custom-made aligners that gradually guide your teeth into their proper alignment.

I went to doctor Valeriano for years to deal with my braces and alignment of my teeth. Dr. Valeriano was an unbelievable orthodontist and got my teeth straight a lot faster than I thought it would take. I appreciate him and everyone in the office for the top notch service and would recommend anyone to go to him for any orthodontist work!

I love this orthodontist! My mouth is a total mess, worse than most people. I’ve been going ever since I was 8 (every 6 months) and they have always had a very solid plan to make sure that my teeth look good. Every orthodontist can do that, but not only can Valeriano Orthodontist do a better job of making your teeth look good, they also make you feel good. They are constantly smiling and trying to make you leave happy. When I was little, they always let me spin the wheel and I loved it. Now, we get points and ice cream, so that even tightening your braces, something that we would normally hate

Dr Valeriano is very understanding and compassionate. He definitely knows what he is doing. We’ve been to a few consultations before Dr Valeriano but we knew instantly he was the one to fix our daughters teeth/smile. He has an amazing staff as well! Our family has been going to Dr. V’s office for about a decade now (we have 4 children in our family and currently the last one is in braces). He is such a caring, smart, friendly doctor, he makes all our children feel comfortable. His staff and dental associates are wonderful. I like the wall of windows that make it a calming environment as well, they are always updating the look of the office which is nice. Lastly, there was a situation where we had a child leaving for camp and a brace wire was bothering them. We called their emergency number and Dr.V met us at the office on a Saturday (when
