The staff was super nice,esp.the young lady at front window. She went out of her way to try to accommodate us in a room on bottom. The room however, was absolutely disgusting. I'd rather sleep in my car then in this yuck. I'm afraid of bugs and this place scares me! Nothing but a big drug party all around. Not even worth the $120 they charged . I wouldn't stay here again not even for half that price. Too scary!!!

Listen to the negative reviews, I unfortunately ignored them. Woke up in the middle of the night to bed bugs on my pillow. It is worth the extra money to go anywhere else. Room smelt like smoke and everything was stained. If I could give 0 stars I would. They were immediate to give a refund, very clearly was not the first time this has happened.

First of all when we entered the room it smelled like cigarettes!! The room is a non-smoking room but it smelled otherwise!! The walls were dirty plus the door had a shoe print like someone kicked it. The room is in need of extra cleaning. The bed looked very uncomfortable and the pillows looked slept on! I had booked the room with a king size bed but the bed we got looked more like FULL Size bed!! I was very disappointed with our room. This is the last time we'll ever come here. I also don't recommend you coming here and the price that we paid is not worth the room. I have stayed in

Hotel is doable if your in need of somewhere ok to rest your head. The night man is super cool and Carla is the best. The rooms are clean the appliances work the shower has good pressure and is hot. The a/c does its job and there's usually availability. The price is of course too much and you get the strong feeling the staff is somewhat abused by the owners. But overall Carla makes sure your safe and comfortable and its worth putting your money here if for no other reason than that alone. GIVE CARLA A RAISE. She really does so much there she should be paid a managers salary.

Absolutely not. The room WAS clean enough. But that's the only positive. Police, dogs, people screaming and yelling all night. Front desk made a mistake and checked someone else into our room and made them keys so someone basically walked into our room at like 8pm. Just pay a little extra so you can sleep through the night without drug addicts and police waking you up.

The Inn of Long Beach for a quick impromptu stay when needed. The rooms are pretty standard, in amenities and price wise, and the management is friendly and personable day or night. Across the street is a Vons supermarket and there are plenty of other options for breakfast lunch or dinner within blocks no matter which direction you go.The parking is not always the best, on the weekends especially, so I suggest if you've got it in the lot by nightfall leave it there if you can or you'll be hunting for metered parking for a while.

This was the worst motel experience of my lifetime. Filthy rooms, bed sheets were stained and cover had cigarette burns. Couldn't sit on furniture it was so filthy. Went to check out at 6:00 am to get deposit back and couldn't wake the staff for over 30 minutes. Horrific place!!! Stay away, was accosted by passerby's while just standing by car drinking bottled water, terrible neighborhood, brutal waste of money!!!

This place is filled with drug dealing. Back rooms, 2nd floor. Check out the black Audi in the lot. Bikes pulling up all night buying stuff. The behaviors go on all night from 8:30 nightly until 4am. Management has no handle on this problem. Pool and jacuzzi is filthy.

When first moving back to CA from NY, I stayed at this hotel for a night while searching for apartments/ housing in the Long Beach area (Stay on 12/19/2019). Even while driving throughout Long Beach, I had noticed that the downtown area was not exact what I was expecting. It was alternating between "good" and "bad" areas every block.

Got to stay here while my condo was being painted.
Check-in was a breeze and the room exceeded my expectations. The front desk interaction was pleasant. The owners were really nice and shared some reminiscent memories of the hotel and how the rooms used to look.
The hotel has been renovated so the rooms have been upgraded. There are wood floors and a flatscreen television. Very spacious and close to everything you need. The entire facility is non-smoking, so that was a great surprise.
*The 2 things I would change: the tiny pillows and the thin comforter. But luckily I always travel with

This inn is located in the center of EVERYTHING. Walking distance from the beach, restaurants and next door to Vons!
Everything was convenient!
The service and people who work here are accommodating, knowledgeable and helpful. Everyone was extremely nice and when we asked for more towels, my family and I came back to a clean room and everything was filled as if we just got here.
We stayed two nights!
The pool and jacuzzi were empty at the time and my kids enjoyed every second.
I would definitely come back!

This is a 5-star review for a 2-star hotel. As far as how travel guides rate hotels by luxury and amenities go, this is a 2-star hotel. As far as the guest experience goes when you knowingly stay at a 2-star hotel, this was 5-stars.
The room was clean, the staff was friendly, the bed was great, the AC worked, the shower had good water pressure and hot water, the bathroom was very clean, and surprisingly it was silently quiet in the rooms. They must have very thick walls because the neighborhood isn't quiet but the rooms are silent. Nice big parking lot with free parking for guests. 24 hour

David, the person who checked me in was extremely helpful and fun to talk to. He made the experience very pleasant. As a business owner myself, I like the fact that it is family run. I, too, sometimes have to bring in my kid to my workplace. That fact only made me respect him more of being a responsible father.
As for the room, The beds are clean. There are new furniture's. The floors are clean. The bathroom is very clean. The outside of the building might give the place looking like a cheap motel, however the room to me has everything I needed in a fancy hotel.

For the price this place is really nice. That's not sarcasm. The outside is a little scary, but the inside has just recently been remodeled. The beds are new and the carpet has been replaced with wood. There's still a few old appliances, but they all work. The fella at the reception desk was very nice and easy to talk to. They have someone there 24/7 which is really convenient. There is a nice big Vons right across the street. If you're a light sleeper, it does get loud from time to time due to the traffic. Plus side is that it's stumbling distance from a couple of bars.

First encounter: First, the lady that checked me in did not have any customer service skills. 2 people in a room and she gave me one key. When I asked her where the other one was she said... "next time you want two keys you have to tell me in advance so I can do them both together." I was still standing there and she looked up and said "did you need something else?" I guess that was the end of the check in process....

Chairs were stained so bad that I did not want to sit on them. The floor seemed so dirty I did not walk barefoot
