No smoking on this property which is key for me! Folks are going to smoke whatever they're going to smoke and to each their own. I appreciate not having to smell whatever is being smoked and not ending up smelling like whatever is being smoked.
I've seen other reviews regarding noise and thin walls. It's true, I could hear some traffic when folks revved their engines or were being obnoxious. Whatever. For the price, I am quite pleased. Rooms were surprisingly high quality for the price, it is next to PCH so a loud car could be heard every so often. The walls are pretty thin and other guests were very loud every day, not really the hotels fault but something to consider. Also microwave in our room didn’t work and they spam you with text messages to review them after your stay. Overall you can’t beat the price so price to quality ratio makes it well worth it for a longer stay.

The staff was very kind! The rooms are small newly updated and cute. The "walk" to Sunset Beach is highway.. not safe for kids- or adults I'm my opinion. Parking for Sunset Beach was residential parking NOT public. Drove 10 minutes-with traffic to Seal beach. Lugging all of suit cases for 3 night stay up the stairs was a chore. Parking is tight. Loved the soap/lotion dispensers in bathroom!

Amazing little hotel 🏨 the owner is awesome the beach is Literally 6min walk from the hotel Disney was only 20 minute drive there is a lot of stores and food near by the owner gave the kids beach toys to use the rooms were awesome the area is great overall this place was amazing so glad we found we will be staying here every time we come to California

The room was good.. the man in front was friendly. I'm giving 4 only because we waited over an hour for towels. Front clerk said their machine broke which is awful, however after a very long day on the beach my kids and myself were ready to shower and relax. The shower heads need a deep cleaning or new one. Hardly any water coming down and with hotel being at the beach you need a shower head that can rinse all the sand off our bodies and hair! The renovations were nice just missing towel hooks back of bathroom door, and toilet paper holder. Needs new blow dryer. Had it one for 1 min on high and
