At Yesha, our mission is to train and develop Disciples of Christ through sanctioned martial arts. Our Black Belt instructors are truly the backbone of Yesha Taekwondo. From leading lessons at our 17 schools to evaluating students at our Demonstration Tests, our instructors are essential to our mission.
Our ministry would not be possible without the time they give volunteering their skills. The vision of Yesha Taekwondo is for our disciples to demonstrate Christian leadership principals which will positively impact the lives of the individuals they touch. Yesha Taekwondo is a tax exempt, 501(c)(3), Community Development organization. As the largest non-profit, Olympic sanctioned, Taekwondo organization in Florida, Yesha Taekwondo has been offering affordable Taekwondo to northeast Florida since 1983.
Yesha Taekwondo is a community outreach initiative created by Yesha Ministries. Yesha has and will continue to be a place of service rather than profit. Since our founding, Yesha Ministries has been committed to serving and uplifting our community utilizing our two passions: Jesus and Taekwondo. To make this vision a reality, we rely on the amazing support of our volunteers-as well as donations.
Opening and closing with prayer, and teaching with patience and a heart for children and adults alike, the Fruit Cove School emphasizes a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. Parents and their children work out side-by-side and new friendships are formed. Each student is encouraged to mature in spirit, mind, body and skill while allowing for growth at everyone's individual pace.
The Mandarin East School is located in the heart of Mandarin and offers an incredible opportunity to learn the art ofTaekwondo. We are fortunate to have access to a very large and accommodating facility - Christian Family Chapel. It is the one ofYesha's oldest schools and with that, carries martial arts wisdom which may be passed on to current and future Taekwondo Black Belts.
Opening and closing in prayer with a brief inspirational devotion in the middle, the Yesha Northside class focuses on physical, mental, and spiritual development through Taekwondo. We seek to glorify Jesus Christ in all aspects of life. Our instructors have many years of experience in martial arts, bringing energy and excitement as well as discipline to the training in a family-friendly atmosphere.
