Critical: Quality, Responsiveness
Would give 0 stars if I could. You can never get ahold of them. They don't even get back to you when you leave a voicemail. I'm assuming they are going to send amounts due to collections but wont even pick the phone up to allow me to pay them. Terrible customer service. Avoid them

The tenants the allow in their complexes are allowed to bring homeless drug addicts off the streets and use the units as timeshares, not to mention the criminal invasion of privacy and theft of packages from your doorstep. It took over 1 ear for a pile of junk on the second floor a fire hazards over 1 ear to clean up and that was after the Butte County inspector was summoned to the property I live in the Lincoln Apartments and forced the on-site manager to clear the debris. If you believe in squatters' rights, then these apartments are for you, as non-tenants are allowed to come and go and

Worst property management company in chico ca. Very unprofessional buisness practices. RSC will not return calls or emails in a reasonable amount of time, same as maintenance and repairs. The employees come off very rude and unpleasant to deal with. Most RSC rentals are decent quality but over priced when compared to the same quility units in the chico and surrounding area.

They will give you a deteriorating apartment then have your car towed despite it being on the lease. Have it towed despite it being registered and not abandoned at all. Unwilling to work with tenants and only care about bleeding tenants dry for their money. 0/10 would recommend renting from these heartless people. Definitely the last time I ever rent from them. As soon as my lease is up, I’m gone. Save yourself and your wallet and go elsewhere

RSC is a horrible property management company. They are disrespectful and rude. They will invade your privacy. Very unprofessional. They do not respond to maintenance requests on a timely fashion, they will limp along appliances and fixtures to save a buck. Beware of Kim S. She is very rude and disrespectful person, its amazing to me that in a small tight community like chico a company like RSC that employed people like Kim are still in business as you can read in most of their reviews

My wife and I were interested in a rental managed by RSC, we left a message and didnt get a return call for 3 days. Kim S. Returned our call and was very unpleasant. She was very rude and kept speaking over my wife. She did not take the time needed to answer questions we had. Seemed like she had her mind on something other then work. After our phone call we decided that if that's how she represented rsc we would not want to rent from them, and after reading the other reviews, witch have mentioned Kim S. Alot, we are glad we didn't rent from rec. Our current rental is from C.Y and they are great

The reflection from the energy saving windows on my rented apartment at Hutchinson Green on e 20th burned the plastic on my new truck. Both RSC and the owner Tovey Giezentanner have refused to even contact me back concerning the over $800 it will cost to replace. They deny these windows are reflecting the sun in this manner even though 3 other tenants have had the same issue with their vehicles. Even though I shared with them how many hours I dedicated to caring for campfire evacuees as a volunteer, they won’t even acknowledge the irrefutable evidence of the manufacturers flaw in making these

I've been renting an RSC apartment for 3.5 years. Two positives: Monica is wonderful - compassionate, helpful, and supportive. RSC contracts with nice, helpful folks for simple repairs I've needed.
The warning: Ms. Kim Sayers, Senior Manager, will not only ignore your pleas for changes that impact tenant safety and basic living conditions, she'll give you an eviction scare. If you're on Section 8, no worries. Most all of my neighbors are. One abused his spouse repeatedly and was jailed for this - but was allowed to stay as long as he wished; they've assaulted me and caused

Only real huge problem is that onsite managers like Jennifer Skibo kept illegally entering my apt on Running Springs Circle and vandalizing and stealing my belongings and pet hamster. This occurred everytime I left my apt. All the police said was whoever did it had keys! Then Ms. Skibo claimed she foind my $650 script eyeglasses in her office which I hadn't been in. My drivers license also disappeared at the property on Running Springs Circle and is still missing!

I'll tell you I love this place because they've been nothing but good to me and my wife as a team we've been maintenance and manager and managed properties all over Sac we turned them around made people want to live there made the tenants love us as for someone to disrespect RSC is kind of crazy it must be one bad manager ruin it for everybody but I can assure you that RSC is a really good Property Management Company you guys must have had some bad experiences with managers for people talking about rich the audacity I'm going to continue working for RSC cause they've done nothing but treated me

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Do not rent from this company. They are excessive with their charges on your move out walk through. They said they had to replace the carpet after us living there for 2 years because of pet odor. Just a reason to get new carpet. The absolute worst company to rent from in Chico!!

They are the worst. If i could rate lower I would. They will not answer the phone. They will not correspond by email. Any and all worries and concerns ranging from a huge crack in the foundation to flooding between the walls to landscaping they will ignore. I am fuming right now because again there is a huge concern with this property and all calls and emails have been ignored. If you can use literally any other property management company do so. They are literally the worst.

I rented at 1055 E Lassen Ave and it looks decent and it's an ok place to live....BESIDES THE MANAGEMENT!!!! Look out if your not wanting to get grief from management or get an eviction notice, I think you should keep looking. I also was given the two week walk through notice on the 28th of the month, which the actual walk-through is supposed to be conducted two weeks prior to you moving out! So they gave that to me late and I'm the one who didn't get called for this walk-though because of their mistake of giving me the notice too late! So were did my deposit go? I got $60 out of

When my smoke/carbon monoxide alarm wouldn't stop SOUNDING on a Sunday night after a shower I called the emergency phone number for my apartment-Ceres Plaza-and when I told the answering service my problem she told me to change the battery. After I told her the battery was new and she heard the NOISE she said "that is pretty loud"(!) and asked if I wanted her to have somebody call me. She then hung up and about 5 minutes later while the alarm was stil doing its thing an Ernie called and asked if I needed help. I asked him to coime over and within 10 minutes he was here. He took

This company is full of lies, all they are about is your money, and they like to mess up peoples credit, be on the look out for poor management,poor tracking of documents and not satisfying the customer/renters needs while living their. I have been involved with them for over a year and they have been nothing but a nightmare.The chain of command is never followed and the people they hire to manage these apartments are a bunch of kids who don't know what they are doing....Plain and simple BEWARE of RSC associates,Inc because they stink! This company is absolutely terrible if you are looking to rent an apartment from them. They manage 3-4 apartment complexes in town, including Ceres Plaza and Sandalwood (both located on E. Lassen), but they do not care about the apartment complexes. They get their bread and butter from managing commercial property like Target's lot. Apartments are just a side thing, and it shows. I had so many problems with the property manager and resident manager at the apartments I lived in that I have sworn to keep all of my friends from renting from this company.
