This practice is still horrible. I agree with the rest of the reviews that Alexis lures you in with praise and promise, but ultimately she is just going for the money. She might have been great before, but i don't think her heart is in the helping people part anymore ... Also I was charged for a session I never had because she rescheduled and canceled .... They charge your card way in advance of an actual meeting.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not go to her.

I went to go see Alexis at the beginning of this year for an eating disorder. My judgement was clouded, which she knew and took advantage of. She pretended to be a therapist, WHICH SHE DOES NOT HAVE A DEGREE FOR. She blamed my entire eating disorder on my mother, which was completely INACCURATE AND INAPPROPRIATE.

Please, I urge you not to go to her, she is a phony. She will tell you you're a princess and deserve only the best and then ask for $300 out of pocket, and when you can't afford it she will tell you your parents can and that's what

What can i say except that this woman has changed my life for the better!
After avoiding nutritionists for 6 years, having suffered from bulimia and anorexia, i finally took the plunge and sought out help again.
My experience with nutritionists prior to Alexis was cold, very text book "eat this, in this amount, avoid that"...
But the day i met Alexis, my whole perspective changed.
One of the most important things Alexis has imparted to me is the notion that "food is not the issue, it is what you have made the solution."
She got to know ME, not just my symptoms, while simultaneously

It's difficult to put words to how profoundly Alexis Beck has impacted and changed my life. After being diagnosed with a pretty severe eating disorder, it's thanks to Alexis that I am now fully recovered, healthy, and happy again. She is one of the most loving, supportive, insightful, and understanding people I have ever worked with and, quite possibly, ever known. Her approach to care is unique and compassionate. Until Alexis, I had never been in a therapeutic relationship where I felt so truly heard and understood. I will forever cherish my relationship with her and cannot reiterate

When you first meet Alexis, she promises you the world. She is kind and understanding and you feel like you truly connect with her. When my daughter went to meet with her we specifically asked about insurance coverage, and were told that it would not be a problem. After four visits, we were told that the "insurance thing is not working out and we would have to pay full fare. The office manager explained that Alexis does not need to take people who need insurance reimbursements because she can get plenty of clients who are willing to pay out of their pockets." So we were basically
