Pioneer Animal Hospital
Pioneering Standards Every single thing we do is driven by a simple belief: that the love that you share with your pet is precious, and worthy of the best protection. That is why we believe in setting a higher standard of veterinary medicine. You will see it in our AAHA accreditation - something that fewer than 15% of veterinary practices have.

You will see it in the thoroughness of our exams, the carefulness of our procedures, and the compassion of our team. But most importantly, you will see it in a longer, happier life for your pet. Because when it comes to them, we wouldn't settle for anything less. We believe that, when it comes to your pet, only the best will do.
Services
AAHA Proud AAHA is an organization with a simple purpose: to recognize and accredit veterinary practices who demonstrate excellence in everything they do. In order to determine whether an animal hospital meets this criteria, approximately 900 different variables are examined, inspected, and tested for.
Wellness Exams Hospice Care focuses on providing the best quality of life possible for a pet with a terminal disease or condition until the pet dies or is euthanized. Hospice care also helps you by providing you with time to adjust to the coming loss of your companion. The care is tailored to the needs of both you and your pet.

Continuous laser emissions affect tissue inflammation by stimulating and increasing blood and lymphatic circulation and inducing fast re-absorption of fluid build-up. Pulsed laser emissions, have an immediate effect on pain by interfering with the very transmission of the pain impulse to the higher brain centers.

First time ever using this facility. Was able to get an appointment within a few days. This was important when you need to get your pet seen. A little bit of a drive but good road.

I wish I could give 0 stars. I took my cat in on 7/6 for difficulty breathing. Dr. Wood told us it was stress and that we needed to change our home arrangements. I told him I did not think that was the cause as we had her for 11 years and know what it stress and what is not but he seems very convinced. He told me to do the things he suggested and bring her back in 3 weeks. She died 3 days later after being rushed to Blue Pearl emergency clinic because she could not breathe. The vet at Blue Pearl told us she likely had throat cancer and said they could feel a large lump in her throat. That lump

I took my kitty fur baby 9+ yo to figure out an issue. I found their services very professional. They had curbside service, and everyone was cheerful and positive. My fur baby is fine, and I know to call Pioneer Animal Hospital if she needs care.

My dog is a challenge for vets and is very touch sensitive. Dr. Woods and his staff have been more than accommodating and understanding of my dogs needs. They also have well out of their way to meet his needs which puts me at ease. Not only that, but despite the extra needs and attention my dog needs, Dr. Woods still charges a fair and reasonable price. During the challenges brought forth with COVID and the regulations that businesses have to follow, Dr. Woods took extra measures to help get my dog in for his appointments. Dr. Woods is a very personable vet as well and does a great job explaining

I ended up here because my regular vet was booked solid on a Saturday, and my newly adopted 10yo cat desperately needed to be seen. Starting with the gentleman on the phone, I was treated with an extraordinary amount of professionalism and courtesy to include being greeted at the door and immediately escorted in the exam room. I was so impressed to see that dogs & cats get different entrances, waiting areas AND exam rooms which must feel like such a luxury for my nervous cat who doesn't love dogs. Dr. Wood was excellent to both me and my cat, picked up on a few things that were missed by my regular

I’ve never met a more disappointing vet than William Woods for cats. He doesn’t show care when answering questions, doesn’t offer preventative care and quite frankly doesn’t seem to care. With our new vet, we can call anytime and get answers from actually speaking to the vet 1:1, or feel confident in taking our cats in anytime. At Pioneer Hospital, we weren’t given enough attention, no dietary advice was offered, and we didn’t even discover one of our cats had high calcium (now resolved thanks to new vet recommending we change diets) until changing vets. On many occasions, I mentioned

I have been taking my dog Napoleon(dachshund) to Pioneer Animal Hospital since August 2012. He isn't an easy dog. He is very stubborn, nervous and barks a lot. The staff was never afraid of him and he was treated lovely since the first visit. I've tried a couple clinics in the area but none come close to the professionalism and quality service that Pioneer Animal Hospital offers. My dog has also boarded a couple times and I have never had any problems. Every time we visit the staff is very polite and greets us by our names, yes even the dog.
