I would definitely recommend CFN Mortgage Capital. Sara was very thorough, fast, and detail oriented. As a first time home buyer, I was not familiar with the mortgage process and she really took the time to educate me and explain. We were connected to CFN through Lennar. We have a very high credit score 780+, put 10% down and have shown substantial income for two years. We are self-employed. We were asked to provide over 85 documents including over 250 pages of support for our assets, income and deposits. I don't expect the good ole days when my dog could qualify for a no down 30 year loan but this has been onerous.
Once we were within 30 days the rate quotes came in a full point above market. Oddly the 5/1 Arm was quoted higher than the 30 year fixed. Today's market for 30 year fixed is 3.37 to 3.9 - we are quoted 4.12
