Julia Doughty has over 20 years of experience as a body therapist and yoga teacher, and over 45 years of experience as a yoga practitioner. She teaches Gentle Yoga to all levels of students and offers private sessions and therapy for those who have special needs. She specializes in meditative hands-on energy therapy along with customized Gentle Yoga.

She was a nice lady, the spot was pretty hard for me to find since it was in a random room of a church that was all locked up and then when she pulled out the blankets to lay down for me a mouse jumped out so it wasn't the best experience. I've had cranial sacral massages and this wasn't a massage at all. She did more like energy work? I did get a short nap in while she did it though haha. I suppose it works for some people but not for me.

I am half way through my first 8-week session of Dhara Yoga and I have already benefited tremendously. I was looking for a beginners yoga class where I could accomplish my goals in spite of a spinal injury. I was also looking for ways to gain control over my thoughts and pacing through breathing and Julia's. The stretches and poses we've been doing have all helped to open my hips and relieve tension in my neck and back. Julia provides an instructive, calm and noncompetitive approach to yoga that leaves me wanting more. I also appreciate the way simple props such as blankets and chairs
