Our office is designed for maximum comfort and accessibility. It is the only dental office in the world where you can touch a piece of the moon and Mars with one hand! Our happy staff will welcome you as you enter our clean and bright fully rehabbed building. What makes our dental office further stand out from the rest is that it is extremely child-friendly!
We accept twelve types of VA Medicaid (including plans designed for children and adults). We also work with many other insurance companies to provide necessary care, including Aetna, Cigna, Delta Dental (PPO and Premier), Guardian, Humana, Anthem and others. Please call the office to see if we can work with your insurance carrier.
Dr Hartel graduated from Washington University School of Dental Medicine in 1985 and completed a one year hospital-based residency in general dentistry at Barnes Hospital in St Louis. He opened his solo private practice in 1989 and expanded several times until he decided to expand his dental horizons to caring for US military service men and women, joining the Army in 2011.
Kaitlyn has lived in the Tri-Cities area her whole life and has been a certified dental assistant for three years, having worked at several offices before finding her home at "Just for Grins Dental Care." When not assisting Dr. Hartel chair side, organizing supplies and instruments, she enjoys anything outdoors with my son.

I went there and then they never called me to remind me if a visit u missed it and is charging me a miss appointment than I called to straight it out and pay then they said I missed a second appointment now if I missed appointment how would I have missed a second appointment now there trying to charge me for two appointments can anyone explain how I new about the second one I missed if I never got a courtesy call and miss a second one come on guys this place is rude

He did all this dental work while I was pregnant and said insurance would cover all but $30. I have a bill for $150 setting in collections because I haven't had the money or time because of dealing with my daughters birth defects and delayed development that her doctor said was caused by the medications he gave me that he assured me was safe during pregnancy. Besides that my pain after having my teeth extracted by him was like no pain I've ever felt in my life!

Dr. Hartel and his ENTIRE staff, including the receptionist, are the sweetest people I've ever encountered in a dental setting. I haven't had dental insurance in several years and my teeth were getting extremely bad. And I have horrible anxiety about them and the dentist. Not once has anyone here made me feel bad because of the shape of them. I have felt welcomed each time. We have a treatment plan that I'm very pleased with. They are gentle and Dr. Hartel explains everything before and as he is doing it. And will make you laugh too. Highly, highly recommend this office. ❤

Hi I just wanted to share my experience with everyone. This dentist office is great. I hadn't been to the dentist in a while and was very nervous about going. When I got there the dentist came out and spoke to me he could tell I was nervous. He took me back and explained everything and let me calm down before going any further, which I thought was great. I am finally in a place I wasn't before to go get this taken care of and to take care of myself. I just wanted to say thank you and it really meant alot to me, you taking the time to explain and not judging me. Your office and staff are amazing

I normally don't mind going to the dentist. But I I also normally don't leave saying that was fun when I do go. That being said both times I have left just for grins I said that was fun. Even having a tooth pulled. Im not going to say I would do it every weekend for fun. But it was a pleasant enough and fun expirence. The staff is friendly and easy to talk to.
Everyone seems to know what they are doing and seems to care about the patients expirence. 10 out of 10 would recommend
