In today's society it is important to not only treat diseases, but to do one's best to avoid them. One of the best ways to avoid illness is to have a healthy diet, optimum nutritional intake, and proper exercise. With the abundance of fad diets and exercise trends out there, choosing the program that is best for each individual lifestyle can be tricky.
Another common name for this is trigger point acupuncture or Sports Acupuncture. This method of acupuncture doesn't necessarily follow traditional application but may use what are commonly called Trigger Points, Motor Points, or "Ashi" points. Through careful orthopedic assessment and palpation these points are identified and treated based on each patient's needs.

After several attempts to get them to bill my insurance company with the correct billing codes, charging for "Therapy" I didn't ask for, what "Therapy"?? I came in for a accupunture session!! Also double billed on that day in January. Now threatening to send me to collections for $191! Seriously you guys want to go that route?? I will have my attorney talk to you about fraudulent billing!

Dr, Hillyer is fantastic! I tried all sorts of remedies to help with my shoulder impingement and it wasn't until I saw Dr. Hillyer that I started to see real improvements. My shoulder is 100% now, and when ever I have an issue with any thing else he is my first call.
The clinic itself is also super relaxing and comfortable. Definitely 5 stars!!

I came to Adrian with a very troubling and confusing painful vaccine injury in my shoulder. My 1st appointment he was very thorough in giving an ultrasound to the area making sure that he was able to look around and see what might be the problem. After my 1st very thorough examination of my shoulder and surrounding area we got started on dry needling therapy. It has been really helpful and has put me on the road to recovery. He stays in contact with my physical therapist and they make sure that they are on the same page in terms of The best approach for healing my injury. I am very grateful that

At the suggestion of my chiropractor, I made an appointment with Adrian at Pins and Needles. This was my first experience with acupuncture and Adrian not only made sure that it was a comfortable introduction, but provided a detailed explanation of the process and treatment goals during the initial appointment. I was seeking relief from an on-going hamstring and glute injury that had frustrated my endurance training for nearly two years. After the first appointment, I felt relief with steady improvement as treatments progressed. As I increased my mileage and activities, Adrian recognized inhibited

Adrian is amazing with the dry needling technique. I went in on a recommendation from a physical therapist that this process could be helpful for a shoulder injury I had. Indeed it was. It took time, of course, but I've gone from VERY limited strength and mobility to full strength and mobility. I still go in for tune ups (and, let's face it, the heat lamp and Adrian's dry wit) and try to talk everyone I know into going. Across the board, the professionalism and knowledge in this office is stellar. They're trustworthy and take good care of their patients. All the stars. Definitely recommend.

3 months in and I've seen HUGE improvements in my lower back pain! I went in because the pain was keeping me from sleeping. These days, not only is the pain less and my range of motion greater, but my back lets me know more quickly when I need to change positions to keep further pain from occurring. Adrian is highly experienced, extremely competent, and hilarious. The staff are great about COVID safety and cleanliness. Highly recommend!

I have been going to Pins & Needles for 6+ years and have only the best things to say about my experience. I first went to Acupuncture when I pulled a muscle in my back and after one treatment I felt 100% better. From that moment I was hooked. I see Adrian and Samantha regularly for "tune ups" when by body feels tight, exhausted or out of balance. Every time I leave the clinic feeling refreshed. I also love the B-vitamin injections.

I started going to Pins and Needles for a Shoulder pain that I had been experiencing for over a year. I had a steroid shot, I had PT and even considered going back for another shot, then I found out about P&N and they have solved my pain in a matter of 3 months. Adrian is amazing! Hands down knows what he is doing and you just have to trust him to figure out the best solution for your particular issues.
I then began seeing Dr. Sam and she too has solved a lot of my other issues with chronic inflammation, weight gain and stomach complaints. They make the perfect team.

I have been receiving treatments from Dr. Samantha for a little over a year now and without a doubt, my bi-weekly visits have played a major role in my overall mobility and recovery from training.
My only regret is that I waited way too many years to try dry needling.
The entire Pins & Needles Team are amazing and caring people who listen to their clients and deliver superior treatments.
In full transparency I have never been to another acupuncture clinic, but I always recommend their services to my friends and gym mates.
