In 1994, home inspectors throughout Wisconsin began meeting monthly to improve skills and to discuss with other inspectors what they had learned during the conduct of home inspections. In early 1995, we established our name as the Wisconsin Association of Home Inspectors, Incorporated (WAHI). Our goal is to improve the competency of home inspectors through training and professional interaction.
Our monthly education programs focus on home inspections as well as industry concerns. Currently, we have over 300 members. Our membership include home inspectors, engineers, builders, electricians, building tradesmen, journeymen, basement specialists, etc. Each of them is involved with the home inspection industry in one way or another.

Services
Five regional directors represent their chapters members. Most chapters hold monthly educational meetings and special event programs. Each member is assigned to a local chapter. All WAHI members, as well as prospective members/guests, are invited to attend local meetings.
Chapter meetings are an excellent way to meet and interact with your peers, earn continuing education, participate in educational programs, and market products and services to those in the inspection industry. If you have interest in serving in a WAHI chapter leadership position, please contact Julie Arnstein for more information.

Even the most experienced homeowners benefit from the knowledge and expertise of a professional WAHI home inspector. A WAHI home inspector is familiar with the many elements of home construction, including the proper installation and maintenance of numerous systems throughout a home. They understand how a home's systems and components are intended to function, as well as how and why they fail.
You DO NOT have to make a selection from the drop down menu option - you may leave that column blank as it is now. The 2nd column is where you enter the information you have. Example (s): If the info you have is a person's last name, enter that name in the 2nd column - in line with the row marked Last name.
