Our practice is limited to disability cases, and we understand that our disabled clients are in a very difficult situation. When they come to us, our clients have lost their health, their income and their health insurance. Some are even on the verge of losing their homes. Our job is to help disabled people regain their financial stability and dignity by helping them get the disability benefits that they deserve.

We are dedicated to this work and take great personal satisfaction in it. After more than 30 years of helping disabled people get their Social Security disability benefits, we have experience with all sorts of cases and all types of disabilities. We have represented Social Security disability claimants with every kind of physical and mental impairment.
Services
I received a Masters degree in psychology from the University of Colorado in Boulder, and followed that with a law degree from the Fleming Law School at the University of Colorado. I have been practicing law in Colorado since 1981 and have limited my practice to disability law, including Social Security disability and ERISA disability.
Generally, when people say that you have a disability they mean that you have some sort restriction that affects some activities. However, for purposes of qualifying for Social Security disability benefits, the definition is very specific about the limitations of disability. The Social Security disability program bases its definition of disability on whether or not you can work.
1. Likelihood of success. If (a) your physical or mental disability is severe, (b) your condition limits your activities of daily living, (c) your medical impairment will last or has lasted longer than 12 months, and (d) your doctor agrees with this assessment, you should apply for Social Security disability.
Hiring a Colorado Social Security disability lawyer will help your chances of getting disability benefits from the Social Security Administration. One of the best things that you can do to help yourself in the process of trying to obtain Social Security disability benefits is to find and hire an experienced Colorado disability lawyer.
We regularly talk to Social Security disability claimants who are discouraged by the denial of their applications. They should not feel bad, for 65% of initial applications are denied. However, the majority of claimants who appeal will ultimately be found disabled, so if you feel you cannot work you should appeal.
