Came here for my first class back in a studio since the lockdown and I’m so glad I did! I was so impressed by Courtney’s class, it was just a perfectly balanced vinyasa/fusion flow. I hadn’t been to a class in so long I forgot to bring a mat, (they don’t rent them) and she immediately offered to let me borrow hers. She really brought so much kindness to the space and I can’t thank her enough!

Every instructor is great, they are all unique but focused on providing gentle guidance. I've only done the easier levels so can't talk to more experienced practitioners. But as a newbie I feel welcomed at my level. Don't be apprehensive, all shapes and experience levels are welcomed. Looking forward to progressing.

I cannot say enough good things about this studio! They offer a wide variety of classes for all levels of yogis, and at convenient times. There is something for everyone here. I especially love Britt's new Primal Yoga class which is a unique blend of power vinyasa booty boot camp with fun high-energy vibes. It's a fabulous cardio workout in addition to great stretching and focusing on breathing.
During this pandemic they are requiring e euro w wear masks inside the building except when on your mat, limiting class sizes, social distancing is required between yogis during class, there

There are a lot of great yoga teachers in San Diego but the staff at Spirit is on an entirely different level. The environment is very clean, welcoming and friendly. The instructors are mindful, encouraging, funny, sweet and consistently dedicated to their own practice. I am so grateful to have come across this space and to share the energy with such an awesome community.

I found Spirit Yoga through ClassPass. The parking wasn't easy, but, that's pretty much how things are here. I think I went around the block two or three times before I found a space.
Some time has passed since I took the class. The people at the front of the studio were nice and the instructor was good. I've gone to quite a number of places over the last two to three years, working on getting myself into better shape.

I have visited many of San Diego city's yoga studies, there is something special about Spirit that keeps bringing me back. Downsides: Sometimes the room is a little warm (for an all levels class), their instructors bring a wide variety of styles, classes can be packed. Upsides: consistently high quality of instruction, facility is simple, clean, and well maintained, if you go once or twice a week - you will get stronger, low key with great vibes.

I love coming here for Marissa's Advanced flow (level 2) classes, they are challenging because she offers many advanced poses and transitions during each class. Years ago i used to come here for Helen Cloots classes for the same reason.
Im glad that theres a studio that still offers advanced poses, because most studios advanced classes are not very challenging for me. They usually involve heating the room or holding a pose longer, which i dislike. Or the entire class leads up to just one peak pose, which is also what I'm not looking for.
I know that Yoga is a business and most studios

A few years ago, when I arrived to San Diego I went on a hunt. I literally went to all the yoga studios in Pacific Beach I could find what offered some form of "initiation" deal. I was doing so much yoga, I'm pretty sure I grew an inch. I think Spirit Yoga was test #15. And that was it for me. My quest had finally ended. It's not just that the staff is nice and genuine. The classes are pretty balanced, most teachers are super knowledgeable, you have a good blend of all styles... I was a member for a long time and then I joined a gym with yoga classes, so I dropped my membership

It's refreshing to have a yoga studio that's not so corporate and really focus on the clients and community needs. It's a beautiful space, the studio is very welcoming and the price is unbeatable for what you get.
I love all the variety of classes they offer and their instructors are great.
Jon and Brad are my favorite. Overall the culture and customer service is excellent.
Spirit Yoga is for everyone.
If you are looking to get your spirit elevated, I highly recommend Spirit Yoga. They will take good care of you whether if you are a beginner or intermediate.

I did a 20 day trial at Spirit after my previous yoga studio changed ownership. After my first class I knew I found my new studio. Every teacher at Spirit is extremely knowledge and very approachable. Each class is unique and challenging in its own way. Thank you Spirit for providing such a welcoming space for yogis of all levels :)

What drew me to this place were the good Yelp reviews, and a Yoga class with a schedule that fit in well with my day. I usually go to The House of Yogi, so I don't know if my expectations were just too high? But based on reading the reviews, I did have high expectations! Firstly, parking is horrendous.. the studio does not have any of its own. I had to park down one of the streets parallel to Garnet, it was quite a walk over to the studio. Next, when I walk in it just happens to be a day they decided to paint the walls of the all-in-one entrance/lobby/cubby area. Now I've just spent the

I have been to many yoga studios and Spirit Yoga is by far one of the most welcoming. I have often avoided yoga elsewhere because the environment can be intimidating. At Spirit Yoga all the teachers are equally supportive and attentive to all students, regardless of skill or level. The studio is also very clean and has a nice ambiance which is important as well. I would highly recommend.

I fell in love with this yoga studio after finishing their 20 days for $20 deal. All the instructors are dedicated and unique in their practice. They offer a variety of classes that are both innovative and challenging. The studio is well maintained and the staff are super friendly. My favorite class to enjoy weekly is the advanced vinyasa flow!

Spirit yoga is my favorite yoga studio in San Diego. This studio’s environment is friendly and welcoming. Every class I’ve been to I get a good workout and leave feeling refreshed and calm. The instructors integrate a variety of breathing practices and the class’s breath is palpable which is something I haven’t experienced at many other studios. I highly recommend this place if you want a genuine and down to earth vibe.

I have been practicing yoga on and off for 34 years, it is a big part of my life now so when I travel I look for yoga studios to continue my practice. Since my daughter and family moved to San Diego I am visiting monthly from Tucson Arizona. I am thrilled I found Spirit yoga, the flow classes are excellent, all the teachers I met were amazing and I left each class with a feeling of having moved my body in a warm environment and with a sense of wholeness. They have classes for all levels and a wonderful offering to the community, a 5 dollar flow class at 3:30 PM every day. Spirt yoga is my yoga

I have been visiting PB for the past 4 months and have tried most of the local yoga studios. Spirit Yoga is by far my favorite. They offer a variety of classes throughout the day with very committed teachers and students. The studio is clean and well supplied. The staff is friendly, engaging and helpful. The clientele is varied in age, gender, and experience. It’s not just an excercise class like I have found in many other studios. There is yoga within the yoga.

I’ve tried lots of local yoga studios in PB and all around San Diego and I love coming to Spirit! The studio is clean, well lit, and heated to a warm but not overly hot temperature. All of the instructors are fun, knowledgeable and encouraging and each brings their own personality and strengths to the classes they teach. I love that each time you take a class the flow and poses are different so you don’t get stuck in a rut and it keeps you focused. This is a great local studio that is inviting to all levels and I would highly recommend to friends. You can’t beat their daily drop in class

I have been practicing yoga for 5 years and going to Spirit yoga for the past 3 years but never agin...
Threaten to be punch and asked to leave because I was using the block to stretch and instead of just laying flat! I thought yoga was a free practice as long as we are respectful to others, not if you are in SPITIT YOGA studio and class is tough by JONATHAN OLD! You are only allowed to do what he say otherwise he will ask you to leave the class you have just pay for! He littler tried to grab my arm and told me to leave!
I came to the class, put my mat down and the JONATHAN OLD/ teacher comes
