With this in mind, I accepted a place among only 25 students at Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 1986. I won computerization for my office, before computers were the acceptable standard in 1993.

At the first visit to the orthodontist, diagnostic records are made to determine the best course of treatment. Complete diagnostic records typically include a medical/dental history, clinical examination, photos of the patient's face and teeth, X-rays, and study models. This information is used to customize a treatment plan for each individual patient.

Dr. Vardy is the most professional, skilled, and detail-oriented orthodontist you will ever find. She took my very challenging case after my local orthodontist turned it down (saying it was too difficult) and she has done an exceptional job, with incredible results as proof. My daughter came to Dr Vardy after another orthodontist left her in a very bad situation. After a full course of treatment my daughter had a cross bite that could potentially fracture her teeth. We went for a second opinion and were told that she’d need jaw surgery. We were beside ourselves until we met Dr Vardy. She was an absolute blessing! She accomplished what other dentists said was impossible. We love Dr. Vardy! My son just got his braces off and looks fabulous. Dr. Vardy cares for her patients as if they were here own children. She has helped us with broken appliances on very short notice, even on weekends. Her Long Island office looks like something out of Architectural Digest. We never have to wait, and there is no parking problem. I was so happy with Dr. Vardy's care of my son that I decided to get Invisaligns, and now we both look great.

Words can't express how grateful and happy I am with Dr. Vardy and her staff. Dr. Vardy is truly an artist. She has heart, compassion, soul, wisdom, insight and loves to share with every patient that has the blessing of being part of her practice. She is a perfectionist but in the very best of ways. She takes pride and joy in her work and it shows on all of her patients. I have known her now 11 months and I can't see myself with any doctor in NYC for treating my teeth but her.

I am so happy with my smile that I want everyone to know! After seeing an orthodontist who made my orthodontic problems worse, it was Dr. Vardy who had the difficult task to develop a plan of care suitable for the multiple problems I had going on with my teeth. I can't say enough about her professionalism and perfectionism which afforded me the best possible smile anyone could have. I highly recommend her as an orthodontist but also as a concerned and patient person who followed through on every detail of my care.
