Rush Fitness specializes in personal training and boot camp programs. Our staff of trainers have been personally selected and guided by our owner, Ron West. Like him, Keith Whyte is highly skilled and will focus on YOUR needs, YOUR goals and will work with you to develop a plan that looks at you as a whole person and will provide the expertise, motivation, and persistence that will help you attain and maintain your fitness goals.
Services
As one of Northern Virginia's most sought-after fitness experts, certified training consultants, and group fitness instructors, Ron West can best be described as the Master of Motivation. Ron pushes the limits of your outer edges by encompassing the full spectrum of conditioning activities, including: aerobic and strength conditioning, kickboxing, martial arts, core training, and yoga.
Keith has led an active and healthy lifestyle for years. The combination of a healthy diet, distance running, regular visits to the gym to work out, and time spent in fitness classes work to satisfy her need for activity and balance in daily life. Fitness helps keep her busy life, which includes raising a growing toddler, in balance.
Rush Fitness provides nutrition counseling for their clients. Any successful fitness plan needs to be a two pronged approach - an exercise plan and a nutrition plan. Our trainers wil meet with you and discuss your goals, current eating habits and work with you to find a healthy eating plan that will help you achieve those goals.
On a scale of 1-5, with 5 denoting the best, Ron West rates more than a 5! Ron is a caring, empathetic, compassionate, motivational, energetic, positive and informative trainer. Just a note to express my sincerest appreciation for what you have done in my life. I have not only lost 35 pounds, but through your total fitness program, I have been able to keep most of it off.
He is becoming a fitness phenomenon, a local celebrity, with women flocking to him after every class making small talk, asking him about his plans for the weekend or leaving him with a compliment. Ron West's ears should be burning around the clock, because his name is buzzing in the streets from Leesburg to Washington, D.C.

Training with Ron was such a great experience for me physically and mentally. He inspires, motivates and challenges you. Everything you look for in a personal trainer. He has a holistic approach in which he understands the importance of weight training with a well balanced diet and really helped me understand how to eat right for my body. His training sessions are never dull. He is is constantly thinking outside the box and coming up with new drills. My body strength improved, I lost fat and toned up. Happy girl :) Since training with Ron I've gone on to become a certified yoga instructor

This man really motivates.

I've taken his classes before with my wife and he's a cut above other instructors. He's personable, professional and his classes are a lot of fun. That's the biggest difference, I think, is that he enjoys what he does and makes you enjoy it too. Highly recommended.

I've known and worked with Ron for years, he is an awesome trainer and mentor. He pushes you to perform above and beyond your limits in order for you to get to that next level. No babies allowed, he has high expectations of you and you should strive to reach them. Thanks for getting the job done and for the positive energy Ron.

I've been taking kickboxing classes with Ron for a few years now and I've never come across a better fitness instructor/trainer. I cannot recommend this class enough - it will kick your butt in the best way possible! I also love that there are modifications to the exercises so that you can take this class no matter what level of fitness you working with. Ron is encouraging, motivating, and inspiring and he really cares about his clients. There is no limit to what you can accomplish with him!

I attended kickboxing with Ron for years and it was by far the most fun, challenging workout I've ever encountered. Typically, when you think of kickboxing in a gym, you think of a boring gym, where the teachers treat you like pansies, they you the steps slowly, you drink water the entire time, and you don't burn any calories by the end of it. From minute one of the class, your heart is pumping and your blood is flowing - great music is playing. I lost 30 lbs easily by attending his classes only 3 times a week, and by running. Would highly recommend that you seek personal training with

I don't even know where to begin! I had just moved to Reston and was looking for an affordable gym to sign up for. However, while I was looking at gyms on Yelp, I came across Rush Fitness and was really impressed by the outstanding reviews. Although I hadn't thought about working with a personal trainer since it is a bit more costly than a gym membership, I was intrigued and contacted Ron for more information about his services. He got back to me extremely fast and spent a good amount of time on the phone with me answering any and all of my millions of questions with a great attitude

RON! He is by far the best trainer I have ever had. He has not only transformed me but MY LIFE. I cannot express how much it has been a pleasure to be a client of Ron. I told him where I would like to loss weight and gain muscle, and Ron told me and showed me the certain exercises that I have to in order to reach my goals. He challenged me and supported me along the journey and that has made me a stronger person. He knows what he is doing and has not only helped me but also my friend. I would recommend him to anybody!

In the words of my friend Kari, who originally introduced me to Ron, "Ron IS the gym!"

I'm thinking about all the gyms I've been a member of during my life... Philadelphia Sports Club, Lifetime Fitness, Golds, Xsport... I've seen a lot of personal trainers. I have never seen any personal trainers do the stuff Ron makes you do. There's a reason I keep going to Ron - because he helps you achieve your goals and you will see results. He knows what he is doing!!

He really cares about his clients even outside of the hour that he sees you a week. He'll follow up
