During this pandemic when there is increased uncertainty it is normal to experience a variety of emotions. Using clinically tested and evidenced-based interventions, we enjoy engaging people in the process of positive change.
Counseling is about understanding what makes you tick. We live in a culture of trying to be everything to everyone. Whether it be in work, lifestyle, family, or friends, we live in an age of expectations. Trying to live up to all of the expectations is not only exhausting, it can also feel defeating and disconnecting.
I want to help make the positive parts of you more apparent. I strive to help you put your values at the forefront of your priorities, and use your strengths when you have to face difficult situations. I want to help you move toward your goals and what you are passionate about more effectively and with more ease.
You're used to doing everything yourself. Maybe that's a point of pride for you, or maybe it's just what you feel you've had to do. That's worked for a really long time, maybe your whole life. You've been getting it done, but maybe you're tired. You're finding yourself stuck somehow. There's something you can't figure out by yourself.
It is a privilege to work with my clients. Counseling is a space where you are able to be vulnerable and talk about things you find difficult to speak about to anyone else. I absolutely love building connections with people and I take it very seriously to create a safe space for you. Growing up in today's world, in this social environment, is difficult.
