Dr. James Maloney is a life long resident of Park Ridge area, attending local grammar and high schools as a youth. After graduation with a bachelors degree from Marquette University in 1979, Dr. Maloney, received his dental degree from Northwestern University in 1985. In October of 1985 Dr Maloney began his practice in Park Ridge and moved to our present location in June of 1996.

Our office performs a wide range of dental services which include "general" dental services such as "cleanings", examinations, bonded white colored restorations, crowns, bridges, root canals, dentures and partial dentures. Dr. Maloney has also undergone advanced training in implant dentistry. Our office accepts all conventional insurance plans which do not require the insured to choose from a list of participating dentists.

I have a terrible phobia of the dentist since I was 10, I went to Dr. Maloney last week after having a terrible experience back in February with another dentist. I told him and his assistant about it and they reassured me that they would take care of me. Boy did they we he administered the Novacaine I didn’t feel nor did I even notice when he pulled my very decayed wisdom tooth out. I highly recommend him for any of your dentistry needs!!! I've seen Dr. Maloney twice now, and each time he doesn't really seem to be that interested in checking my teeth/x-rays/etc. after the hygenist has completed her work. He's friendly enough, just doesn't seem involved in routine check-ups.
Not really fond of his hygenist either. She doesn't seem to do as throurough a job as others I've been to. Also, and this may just be me, but she seems to talk too much about nothing...

Dr. Maloney is a great dentist. He is super friendly and down to earth. I have been to many dentists throughout the years and he was the first to ask, "Is there anything you don't like about your smile"? I was quick to answer with a no, initially, but then I thought about it for a moment and was like, "Wait, yes, there is something I don't like"! Long story short, he was able to make much better an area of my teeth that I've always been self-conscious about. The work was done quickly, carefully and the results have been great.
