I can't recommend this practice enough! We moved to the area 7 years ago and once settled I started looking for a dentist. Now...I have PTSD with dentists. I had some really bad luck with crappy ones that messed up my teeth and I'll be that person who starts to cry and hyperventilate when others wouldn't even bat an eye. A friend recommended this practice and I hesitantly made my way there although not covered by my insurance. I'm really glad I did. We’ve been going to Uptown Dentistry since my kids were toddlers. The entire staff always makes us feel welcome and comfortable. My daughter is very nervous about dental visits and they are super patient and accommodating with her. We’ve always been able to reach the doctors in any emergency and they have been ready to answer any concerns. We’re sad to be moving away this summer because it will be hard to find another office that could match the quality of care we’ve enjoyed here for years.

I highly recommend Dr. Ruttencutter at Uptown Dentistry in Park Ridge. He helped me get my smile back! After having a tooth pulled several years ago, I would always shy away from smiling or laughing. He did such a wonderful job with my dental implant recently that even I can’t tell which of my tooth is the implant. The best part is I can once again talk, smile and laugh confidently without any hesitation. So grateful for Uptown Dentistry and Dr. Ruttencutter’s expertise!

I highly recommend Uptown Dentistry! I can’t say enough good things, but I can say my daughter used to go to a pediatric dentist and screamed and cried at her appts even when they were just cleanings. Dr. Jeff at Uptown has now pulled 12 teeth of hers and she still likes going there. In my book, that says it all! Uptown Dentistry is the best dental office by far! I personally love going to the dentist, but after my old dentist retired it was hard for me to find one that met my standards. Wonderful experience at Uptown Dentistry! My family has been going to Uptown Dentistry since we moved to Park Ridge in 2012. The kids were 3 & 6 at that time. They loved the doctors, staff and office from the get go (prize box doesn't hurt) and 8+ years later, they still look forward to their 2x/year visits! We have seen Dr. Jeff & Dr. Priscilla primarily, but have seen other docs as well. They are all great! The whole office is welcoming. Dr. Chang and Dr. Ruttencutter are real nice doctors! They are very professional, knowledgeable and have great bedside manners. Had to switch dentists due to an insurance change and happily found Uptown Dentistry. The staff is great and the office/equipment is state of the art. I have been there both for a cleaning and to have my tooth pulled. I had some pain after the extraction and called the office to see if I can get in. No hesitation, I was in within the hour. The attention to detail and the caring staff has made this transition a wonderful experience. My 8-year old loves it there! Thank you to the entire staff!! Highly recommend!!!

I just left Uptown Dentistry after having a cavity filled and I could not have been more pleased. Erin, the receptionist is so delightful and easy to talk to. I like that she has all the estimated costs up front and ready for you to look over before any work is done. No surprises!

I have not found a dentist that I felt comfortable with in a long time. My wife told me about this dentist in Park Ridge and how great he was. I stopped in to make an appointment and they had a cancellation so they took me right in because I needed X-rays and my teeth to be cleaned. First of all this place is so cool it's so contemporary and they make you feel so comfortable , every single person that I talked with there was friendly and made me feel very comfortable. All my dental visits was always scary with lots of fears. Not anymore. Dr. Jeff is one of the BEST. Very caring and well skilled! For 34 years I went to the same dentist, but finally decided to switch to someone closer to where I live. Uptown Dentistry was fairy new at the time I switched, but it looked nice and had good reviews on Yelp. I took a chance and made the switch and it's been the best thing! Dr. Jeff is awesome and so is the staff! Visiting the dentist is a pleasant experience! They have the new technology (at least new to me) that makes cleanings super simple, painless and fast! They even have a tv that is over your head while they are working on you which is a nice distraction!
