Dr. Luma attended the Oakland University before receiving her Doctorate in 2004 from University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in Michigan, where she earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS).
After graduation, she joined the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program at UDM School of Dentistry in partnership with St. John Riverview Hospital which provided her with advanced knowledge and skills that enable her to perform evidence-based comprehensive oral care ethically and proficiently on a wide range of patient populations.

Dr. Luma, Tiffany (hygenist), Monika and the team at North Shore Dental Group are true professionals and care about creating a positive, relaxing experience for their patients. I was in today for a procedure and Tiffany explained each step and made sure I was comfortable before she proceeded. Their new office space is lovely and watching a Netflix show about vacation rentals was the perfect distraction.

Honestly was super nervous coming in the fist time just because I haven't been to the dentist in years and didn't know what to expect. The staff was on point, made me feel very comfortable and got me set up in no time. After meeting Dr. Luma, I knew I had nothing to worry about. Very informative and gave the best recommendations. Honestly cant wait for my next appointment!

Highly recommend!!! I was always fearful of the dentist with not having good previous experience but Dr. Luma put all of that to rest. She is very gentle and detailed. I really like Tiffany, my dental hygienist, she’s awesome at what she does. Monika at the front desk always pleasant to talk to and accommodating. Office is beautiful and clean!!!

I have had a really nice experience with Dr. Luma and the office staff at North Shore Dental. Monika is very kind, responsive, and helpful with scheduling and insurance work. The doctor took the time to show me the X-rays and explain everything she was noticing. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean and friendly dental clinic that does it all.
