Bread & Yoga
It is with a heavy heart that we are announcing that Bread and Yoga Co-op will be closing its doors. Since the pandemic hit, it has been very challenging to keep the business going as it has been especially devastating to the yoga and fitness studios around the city. Even studios that were able to maintain their spaces through the worst of the pandemic are now finding themselves still struggling to come back and, in many cases, having to make the hard decision to close. We do not make this decision lightly.
Services
We are always deeply grateful for all of your support, and in the past few months, we are especially grateful for our monthly members. Your memberships have sustained us and have allowed most of our teachers to continue working. We thank you for your unwavering support.

When choosing your drop-in level we invite you to look at what is possible through a lens of COLLECTIVE CARE in a way that feels authentically generous without causing you hardship. In other words, we are putting the responsibility in your hands as the "consumer" and trusting that you value the services we offer and will make the choice that honestly reflects your financial possibilities.
Please note that we only have a couple of spots left. Reach out if you have any questions. I don't know about you but after this past year we cannot wait to be able to travel and practice in community in such a gorgeous spot. Join us for a relaxing yoga vacation combined with an authentic taste of Greek life and culture in the unspoiled island of Amorgos, Greece, with its breathtaking landscape, clear blue seas and ancient history.

Bread and Yoga is NOT closed. They have been conducting classes online since the start of the pandemic. They still have several classes everyday. The teachers have grown very skilled at interacting with students online, offering suggestions and guidance.

I didn't have a good experience in this studio, the space was very crowded and humid and the teacher was taking too loud. Price does not reflect the conditions.

I've been practicing at Bread & Yoga for years, and feel so lucky to have this gem of a studio right here in Inwood. My most recent experience has been with Meghan's Tuesday morning Hatha. After having gone a few weeks in a row I am certain this will become part of my regular routine. Every class has been a challenge, allowing me to push myself exactly to where I needed to go, and feeling energized, and amazing after. Tuesday's have become very productive as a result of this!
A nice bonus: the studio also offers creative after-school and pre-k programming of the highest quality:)

Bread and yoga is a small, community minded yoga studio run by some lovely people. Excellent teachers, friendly and welcoming staff, and other classes and workshops for both adults and children. A number of options for pregnant ladies too. You owe it to yourself to stop by and check out what they have to offer!

From my first class with Natalie, I have been hooked! Teachers who connect with the true purpose of yoga and who flow with what the day brings. Beautiful souls at this place :)
