At Beach Gold Assay we buy gold jewelry as one of our primary lines of business. If your piece is custom and not marked, we have all of the equipment and tests to determine the karat of the jewelry. I inherited a bunch of scrap gold from my Father’s Estate—he collected broken chains, charms, clasps, ect. I sorted them at home by Karat weight as best I could and brought them into the shop to get an assessment of the value. I received a fair price for the scrap gold, but what I was most impressed with was their integrity and honesty in the appraisal of my items. On a more than a few occasions, I had what I thought was 14K gold but it was actually 18K and they were completely honest and transparent paying me more! They easily could have paid me the 14K price for my 18K jewelry but they didn’tâ€

I decided to give Beach Gold a visit based on the positive reviews I was reading. I know precious metals pretty well and expected a pretty straight-forward transaction. That's not what I got. The daily price of precious metals is easy to find on-line at any given minute and the percentage of silver and gold in coins is equally as easy to look up based on clearly established standards. Beach Gold offered me 20% below the standard rate for the type of coins I was thinking of selling. That's crazy. After shopping around a little, I went here based on the few other reviews and because it is a 'buying only' service. I had some gold and silver coins and gold jewelry to sell. I was not interested in buying anything. [ some of the coin shops seemed more interested in the selling part of their businesses.)
