The prime rib special was so thickly cut, it was impossible to cook properly!
It was returned to the chef to cook a second time, the way we requested, however, it was so raw, we couldn't cut it. Service was hurried also. It was our Anniversary and wanted something romantic. It was anything but. We had dinner there on our Anniversary before and everything was fine! That was about five years ago. Very disappointed!!

Front desk staff was polite but wait staff and bartenders were incredibly rude. Wouldn't acknowledge my family or I and when we finally did gets someone's attention they were unfriendly and not helpful. Hotel itself is very cute and nice inside but it's impossible to get good service at bar or restaurant.

Some of the dishes were good, some were mediocre. Staff friendly but service was slow (sure they're struggling with staffing issues as well). One thing that irked me is that my Dad is disabled and wheelchair bound. It took 10 minutes and a phone call to get an exterior door opened so he could get into the dining room. It was cold outside and front desk could have informed inside staff.

Unfortunately they were severely short-staffed on Christmas. They even had kitchen staff serving tables. Service was friendly, but understandably slow. Our food was good, although I wish it was great. One of our entrees was lukewarm. Will try it again. The ambiance was nice!

We ended up ordering a couple of the most expensive steaks on the menu, and really the only positive thing about this experience were the drinks.
The steaks were not cooked the way we had ordered, and the outside of both steaks was so burnt we needed to cut off the surfaces of the meat to make them edible. When we mentioned this, the staff member just said sorry and then disappeared. No offer to fix the issue... Nothing.
Between the inattentive service and food that didn't come close to living up to the price tag, I would definitely not recommend anyone visit this place.

The Peacock Room is elegant and has the ambiance of fine dining. However, the food and service are mediocre, at best. As most restaurants are experiencing, wait staff is thin due to Covid fall-out and we understand that. However, there was an exceptionally long time between ordering our drinks, ordering our food and getting each course. For example, we waited 40
minutes to get our entree after our salads were served. Way too long.
The lamb shank was good, but the steak was over cooked and the salmon was dry. Food was disappointing as this was not our first time here and we expected more. We are

First, if you don't like or cannot climb stairs, this is not the place for you. After walking uphill past several French Glass Doors, I had to walk up ~6-7 steps inside the front doors to get to hotel desk and then go down a very long hallway with at least four separate sets of stairs with 6 steps down each☹ to get to the dining room. On the Plus, I scored a window booth and had good French Toast.
Sadly, that's where the good ends! I also ordered the Salmon Avocado Salad, which came out with an incredibly nauseating odor!😟 I seriously almost lost my French Toast! I had to move the salad to

A beautiful and historic place, the Hassayampa Inn has been providing style and taste since 1927. It has a timeless charm about it. The restaurant underwent a renovation in 2014. My husband and I enjoyed a delightful dinner in the Peacock Room with his oldest brother and wife. They were celebrating their 48th wedding anniversary and invited us to join them. We started with two Shrimp Cocktails and 5 jumbo shrimp was was served with slices of avocado and crackers...superb!😋. My husband and his brother both ordered the 8 oz Slow Roasted Prime Rib (offered only on Friday and Saturday nights) which

The lady at the breakfast lounge checked us in then forgot about and ignored us and seated other people who came after. 0 ⭐️ we to go eat at The County Seat. Better food at a better price!
Nice hotel though! Just avoid the lounge and you are solid.

Very old hotel! Definitely had an old smell in the room. The rooms are in desperate need of a face lift! Food at the hotel was so so. The only good thing about the hotel is it's in a perfect location. 3 day stay was too long two would have been better. If I go again will look for a newer hotels with no smells.

Not sure the hotel wants to see this, but we stayed here because it's marked as haunted. But so is every other hotel in downtown Prescott, so get cozy.
The hotel was built in 1927, and rumor has it, a young bride named Faith still walks the halls waiting for her groom to return. If you smell flowers, you're in luck! You've been kissed by a ghost!.
If someone wants a huge bathroom, I suggest going elsewhere. Although, personally I'm here to see the sights Prescott has to offer, not hang out in the john. We had a king room with an actual tub, so there was plenty of room. Request

Looked like a great place wasn't overcrowded and were able to make a reservation. Had gluten free options for my son including bread. Waited 45 minutes for 3 sandwiches. His bread wasn't toasted as asked for and my French Dip was ice cold. MGMT fixed it but disappointing none the less.

Historic inn. Glass inlay above the doors to mark room numbers, wood flooring, historic architecture, itty bitty bathroom. If you're a dude of more than 200lbs or taller than 6' you might have a problem. They offer a Veteran discount but only if they have more than five rooms "available" on weekends. For a town that's surrounded by military service memorials, memorials honoring the dead and vet paraphernalia (I mean there's a veteran graveyard right dow the street) that seemed pretty hypocritical ... in the end it's supply/demand profits is greater than military

The staff is warm and friendly. The hotel is well-maintained, beautiful lobby. Our room was much smaller than I expected, but nice. Downside was the couple fighting at 2 am next door. The walls are
paper thin. I had to call the front desk and the noise stopped. I spoke to the front desk in the a.m. They apologized but I guess I expected a bit more than just "Sorry". Due to this experience I am unlikely to stay here again.

Went there for the Tea with a group of friends; hosted by one of them. All was fine until I set my full water glass down on the ledge created by two tables of different heights having been pushed together and covered with a tablecloth. Water glass naturally toppled, water all over my friend.
Server came by and dropped a few napkins. Never said a word. Never changed the tablecloth or assisted in cleaning.
Since I was a guest I said nothing. But I did write a letter to the manager, which has gone unanswered for 2 months. So it is safe to assume the manager doesn't care at all. Now I see where

My second stay at this wonderful historic place. My small room was cozy, comfy, clean and stylish. The sink was in the bedroom, and the teeny bathroom was all I needed. I was there late last month. The staff was great; got a ride on the creaky elevator. Had a a fine breakfast on the morning of my departure.

The Hassayampa is located in scenic downtown Prescott and there are many things to see and do nearby.

3.5 Stars: Great Location, not cozy bed, LOUD AIR CONDITIONER!!!

Great curb appeal and great location! The exterior of this building is really appealing!

Lobby is great, nice decorations and big old times rustic appeal.

Service from the young man at the desk was great. He was very polite and attentive.

Remember back in the day when AC was so loud it shook the building? Is still does here.

Walls and floor are thin because it's an old building so we heard someone's cell phone ringing after they apparently left it Their room... you'll hear the TV, people talking, Doors slamming

What an awesome place to stay in a GREAT location of downtown Prescott. I love the history of the Inn and the customer service is TOP NOTCH!!! Everyone is so very friendly and very accomodating. I would have given the inn 5 stars, however, there were a couple things that eliminated that. We stayed in room 407. The bed has a dip in the middle of it so you and your partner are always sinking into each other which could be okay if that's what you are looking for. ;) Also, the bathroom is SUPER small. If you have any physical limitations, or are just plain tall, I would not recommend this room

I was very impressed with this hotel. Jennifer accommodated my request to check in early, which was so helpful for my schedule. The classic touches were beautiful, I loved the vintage feel. The room had all of the amenities I needed while still maintaining the vintage style. They even left Andes mints on the desk and a postcard! They have a coffee shop, bar, and little restaurant on the inside, and everything in historic Prescott is within walking distance. The price was great, and I would definitely stay again.

This fabulous establishment was constructed in 1927 for the sum of 220,000 dollars. It is a four story hotel that has a few dining options, history and a ghost named Faith.

Funny but you can barely build a house for 200,000 now a days. The aritechure months building is beautiful and the resort is preserved among the time that it was built.

The rooms are small but giving in many ways of the traditions and style of the past. There was a time in our history when Prescott was the capital of Arizona.

Rummaging around the property gives you a snapshot over those that have ventured here before. When
