I have been coming to this location since April of 2021 and I have not been able to stop! I started off with Vinyasa Power flow yoga, which I used to take at Core Power, but I wanted to start using weights so I moved up to the Sculpt class and I am hooked! I love the infrared heat, and each instructor has their own flow with music that keeps you in sync with your workout movements. I make it 4-5 days a week at the 9am classes with all of my favorite yoga instructors and I feel strong, energized, happy, motivated, inspired, loved, and most of all grateful to have this studio in my neighborhood!

Two words: infrared heat! I have been looking for a studio with infrared heat panels since moving to San Diego in 2019 and finally found one close to me! Love the dynamic mix of flows the instructors teach here, and the flexible class times offered. Prices are super reasonable, too. Highly recommend this studio, especially Andre's 7PM Wednesday flow.

I wanted to wait until I had a few months under my belt doing yoga box before reviewing to give a review. I had done yoga in the past, and I enjoyed it for the health benefits but it kind of felt more like a "have to" vs a "want to". I don't have that feeling at yoga box at all. I really love that there is the Power Vinyasa which feels more like classic Yoga but with a twist. And then there is the Sculpt classes to get a lot of cardio and muscle building. The heat really adds a great element to the overall experience too. Even when resting I feel I'm working because

I was looking for place that would awaken my practice. I've taught Yoga for years and have been a student for even longer. I'm no longer teaching but still look for a studio that fits my vibe. It was time to practice with fellow yogis again.
I decided to go to YB in College Area. I was pleasantly surprised to feel so at home immediately. The teachers are exceptional. They each create a community base flowing experience.
The music, the variety of postures, the intentions, the cueing are all well done. It's the best thing I've done for myself all year!
Don't take my word

I love Yoga Box and I love this location! The super high ceilings are such a vibe Yoga Box instructors do an amazing job at making everyone feel like they can "do yoga". I've always enjoyed studio fitness but when it came to yoga I always felt on the outside because I didn't know half the poses and never thought I'd ever get to the level of inversions.
However, at YB every instructor makes all people of all skill levels feel welcome and supported wherever they may be in their fitness/yoga journey and this is one of the driving factors of why this place rules.

I love this place. They offered free classes to try it out. Their app is super easy to use for reserving a spot in a class. I've only been a handful of times, but everytime the instructors have been very welcoming, friendly, and they have great energy. It seems a little intimidating at first, but the vibe is really chill and it's a judgement-free space. The music and lighting is in sync with the flow of the class so it really creates a relaxing and energizing experience. I haven't been to the other locations but there are a lot of different times and options. My only suggestion

Yoga Box is the little neighborhood yoga studio of your dreams! The calming environment is a great way to start or end the day, and they truly foster focus and warmth in your practice. Power Flow Vinyasa is my favorite class, and each and every teacher has a different take on it. My favorite is with Amelie & Sara!!

North Park Yoga Box is by far my favorite! I have only been going for a little over 2 months and it's been the best experience so far. I've never taken a yoga sculpt class before so using the 3 day free pass really helped ease my mind and comfort into something new. I loved sculpt so much that I am already an unlimited member and going at least 3 times a week.
If you want to sweat your butt off in a highly motivating, awesome, uplifting and overall amazing place with loud music and colored lights then YB is the place to go! :) namaste!

Yoga Box has been really great so far. I have taken Power Vinyasa Flow with Andre a few times a week for a month now and he's amazing/welcoming/challenging/great sequences & music. The other students are friendly, the studio is simple/minimalist (which I love) and it's easy to get to (there's a free parking lot behind the studio, and I usually find free street parking close by if the lot is full).
I was a Corepower student for years but decided to try Yoga Box - a friend recommended it- after I felt safe enough to return to classes post-pandemic and I am fully satisfied. They

I love this studio! Probably my favorite YogaBox location yet.. although they're all great. There's a nice urban vibe right on University st yet a wholesome yogi vibe inside.
The instructors are all awesome-- challenging workouts with a great overall flow. This place is my favorite part of the day.

Tried Yoga Box back in March and loved it. After a month of paying for one class at a time I decided to get the unlimited monthly membership and I'm so happy I did! Love the community and instructors! Even on the mornings I'm not as motivated the energy, music and instructor enthusiasm makes up for my lack of motivation. Highly recommend taking a sculpt class if you're looking for an awesome workout!

I had never done yoga before attending a class at Yoga Box. Whether you're trying to get in shape or just add something different to your daily routine - Yoga Box is great at meeting all your needs. With encouraging staff and a welcoming environment, the studio is a great place for everyone from beginners to advanced!
I personally have missed being around people and their interactive yet Covid cautious classes provide the perfect amount of community. Next time you're in North Park, I highly recommend dropping in to check out a class!

I've been taking yoga sculpt here for almost a month and I love it! All the instructors are friendly and motivate you through your workout. Love to be indoors again and the heat has really helped with my knee injury.
I drive here from Eastlake (Chula Vista) so that tells you how obsessed I am with this studio.

DON'T RISK IT. Other yoga studios are taking the proper precaution to mitigate risk w/COVID-19. No temperature checks. No masks required and you're indoors! No proper/regulated distancing. No doors or windows open. Etc. Why is it that Core Power Yoga up the street, including many other fitness studios take your temperature upon entry, have taped out sections on the floor to ensure proper distancing, significantly limit the number of guests, etc?
They'll tell you they're taking extra precautions; however, they're not even taking the most basic steps to mitigate risk.

Yoga in a heated box, with an awesome sound system, lights (!!) and fantastic teachers! The vibe is welcoming, friendly and fun. They have four other locations, but the NP is by far the largest, so when trying to book classes (only ahead of time FYI) and you find you aren't able to get in at the other locations, and need a yoga fix-- try here!
There's also some parking available as well, which is a plus. Never been? Sign up online or an app for 3 free classes, even still, they're drop ins and membership rates are quite reasonable.
