If u want to getaway this os the place to b or have a family function this is it!! This place was amazing!! The view was awesome!! The room was even better!!😍😍😍 the room was nice, clean &spacious . The bathroom was so spotless & they had the tissue roll tied up like a bow it was cute! The whirlpool/jacuzzi was amazing very big &relaxing!! The bed was soft very comfortable!! The dining next door was great all the way around very helpful!! & the staff was so friendly &nice!! The beach was so beautiful.. definitely will b coming back hand's down!!

My second time here and plan to have many more in years to come. Such great memories from my trip in the Spring of 2017, and now new ones from October 2021. Gliddens has a special place in my heart. I almost didn't leave a review because I want to keep this place my little secret, so it doesn't change a bunch or get too busy. What I love most is - - the entire experience. This time we drove up and there were fall/halloween decorations out - super pretty and welcoming. Checked in and the woman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. I have never run in to anything but happy, helpful people

Glidden Lodge Beach Resort is one of our favorite places to stay when we visit amazing Door County. This pretty lodge is located a bit 'away from it all', but we love the views that make it worth just staying put in any/all of the waterfront condos. Our recent stay was in a beautiful three bedroom condo near the northern end of the building. Mother Nature did not cooperate with us the week we were here, but the amenities at Glidden kept us cozy and relaxed. This was our second stay here for our anniversary this time in a two bedroom (we got a free upgrade) last time was in a one bedroom. rooms are super clean and beds are comfy! all the rooms have a fantastic… view of the lake, they all come with a fireplace and a two-person Jacuzzi bathtub with a gorgeous huge shower! it is the best place to stay for a romantic getaway. full kitchen too! Both times we have gone the end of October and the Fall colors in Door County are just gorgeous! I would recommend staying at Glidden Lodge and also eating at Glidden Lodge Restaurant to anyone! 5 stars!

Glidden Lodge is a favorite of ours in Door County Sparkling Clean, quiet & secluded but close enough to Fish Creek, Egg Harbor & Ephraim where the action is when we want to get out. Love that Donny’s Glidden… Lodge Restaurant is less than a 2 minute walk from the Condo. Being able to walk out your patio door directly onto The sandy shore of Lake Michigan is wonderful and especially during COVID everyone is able to socially distance because even with a Full House there just aren’t that many people at this Lodge due to the expansive Condos. Glidden Lodge is such an awesome place. My family has been coming here for a very long time since the 80's. While it has switched owners, the place always seems to change every year we come. There is some… feedback l want to, give. All feedback is general. First, I noticed that there's no humidity in the rooms in the winter, the air is very dry in the rooms, I advise humidifiers for the winter. Also there’s an air leakage somewhere so I would advise replacing the walls and get spray foam insulation as well as replace the windows, and make sure there sealed and air tight, as I notice

My boyfriend and I stayed here this weekend for a little getaway and I have to say that this was completely amazing! The one bedroom was absolutely lovely, looking out at the water and very cozy. Our room felt like a little apartment away from home with kitchen, huge bathroom with whirlpool tub (2 person), living room with fireplace, and a spacious bedroom. We were able to fall asleep with the windows open to the sound of the waves. Love this place. We were here for Thanksgiving weekend. It's very quiet, the pool is never crowded. The three bedroom condo was huge. There were 5 of us and it was plenty of space. The kitchen is fully stocked but not exactly a chefs dream. We are Thanksgiving dinner at a buffet. If we decide to cook thanksgiving dinner there next year I will probably bring some better knives and pots. I'm pretty picky though. The location is great for us. We have been staying at Glidden in the winter for over 20 years. It is our post holiday tradition. We have stayed Inman units and never had a bad experience. Always clean, staff are friendly and helpful. Kitchen is clean, has about the right stuff. We don't mind the drive to the action. Relax on the quiet side.

We had a dinner party at Gladden Lodge. The bar service was the best! Our table waitress was not. No pleasant greetings, no mention of an appetizer, and no follow up on the meals. All the food was good, but the whitefish was marginal. She did offer dessert at the end. We will be glad to go back and hope for five stars, because the atmosphere sure is!

We have been staying at Glidden Lodge since July '96. We love everything about the lodge. We love the solitude there. Yet you are close to everything. The beach is beautiful. There is a perfect view from every room. The staff is great. The only thing I would change is to get better pillows for the beds!

This is a beautiful, clean resort located right on the beach. The units are well maintained. We have been coming here for years and appreciate that the units are kept up and not left to deteriorate like other resorts where we have stayed in the past. Also, my kids love the indoor pool! The biggest downside to Glidden is that the beach gets very crowded and it is hard to get a beach chair. Guests get very territorial on the beach and mark their chairs with towels even if they are not there for most of the day. Also, people use the Glidden beach even if they are not staying at the resort which compounds

Loved it! As mentioned, it is a bit off the beaten path and much quieter than the resorts on the bay side. We considered this a plus. Even if the weather is bad, the large windows make it possible to enjoy the lake. Everything from our initial inquiries to check out were handled warmly and professionally. It is a beautiful and peaceful place.

We had a great stay at Glidden Lodge a few months ago for a friend's wedding! We loved the location (close to everything, yet still quiet), the room, and the view. When we walked into our room, we had to laugh because it was practically twice the size of our apartment back home! It was huge - the kitchen, living area, and bathroom. The bed was a King, which is also bigger than what we're used to! We arrived late morning, so we immediately opened all the blinds and curtains and saw how close we were to the water - so gorgeous! WOW, what a stay! Enjoyed indoor pool and hot tub, though temp was a little cooler than expected. We love the room and we're able to use the outdoor grill, as well as kitchen for two dinners. Fireplace was on each night and loved the hot tub in the room too! Played games two nights at the kitchen table and watched a DVD movie the other night with friends each time. Great room for hosting another couple. The view and sound of lake was AMAZING! Slept with 2 sliding glass doors open ALL night to hear the waves! Dinner at restaurant was awesome too!
