The Lull-Abi Inn is a fixture in Door County, it was the first motel in Egg Harbor. It has been upgraded, remodeled and expanded over time. What was once a 6 unit motel is now a 24 unit inn with all the comforts you would expect. We inspect every room every day to ensure it meets our standards for cleanliness and comfort.
Being a family owned motel / Inn we pride ourselves on the cleanliness and comfort of our rooms. Having spent a lot of time on the road in my corporate life, we supply our rooms with what we wanted when we traveled.
So, every room has.70 channels of cable, high speed internet, refrigerator, coffee maker (with coffee!), cutting board, cheese knife, corkscrew, service towel, GLASS glasses, private bath, soap, shampoo, lots of towels, and a nightlight!Upstairs rooms have private balconies. Are you looking for fully equipped accommodations for a family or two couples traveling together? The Apartment is just what you're looking for! This is a full sized apartment with a living room, dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen with dishes, cookware, and appliances. The Apartment has two large bedrooms with king beds, and one bath with a tub/shower.
These are great suites, comfortable and spacious - two of our most popular rooms. These are the only two units located to the rear of our Inn, each suite looks out over the 2 acre lawn and wooded back yard. These room locations are both quiet and secluded, ensuring your stay with us is a peaceful one.
These motel rooms sleep two people, except for #6 which has a queen hide-a-bed in addition to the king bedroom. There are three of these units, all on the ground floor. Two of them are next to The Apartment, which makes a great block of rooms for a group traveling together. 3.5 Stars. The prices are reasonable, especially since they didn't require a 3-night stay like so many places in Door Co. The rooms were clean for the most part but the ice bucket had mildew under the lid. Ew. The gal at the front desk was super friendly! Good location in general. Convenient (and free) parking. The mattress was kinda weird like it was overinflated and caused ya to lay with your head lower than your feet so we had to sleep other-way-round. It is reminiscent of a 60s Travelodge. Not an awesome place, but certainly fine for our purposes as casual tourists so would stay again.

First of all I had reserved a King suite and she put me in a double bed room. I was looking up my booking.com reservation and showed it to her and she said nothing. I said do you at least have a queen bed and she said she would see. Then we were put up stairs in a musty smelling room. So we were charged a king suite price and I sent a message but have had no response. Poor management.

In to get some wedding stuff done and couldn't. 3 other groups were also waiting outside. Ended up finding another place to stay faster. I tried calling to let someone know what happened and nobody answered. We then came back to speak with someone and was told there was not 14 days for cancellation so we would not get our full refund. I feel this is absurd considering lack of customer service/support.

Fairly disorganized management. Can walk next door for breakfast, and hotel staff will respond, but -- even given Covid related staffing shortages -- effort was just not there: fans in bathroom as loud as jet planes, broken shower rod, AC again louder than a truck, patio slider screen torn. Not all rooms are the same: I poked my nose in the empty room next door after they had checked out and they had newer quiet AC. It is walking distance to Egg Harbor, but very basic accommodations.

Convenient location and the most reasonably priced hotel in the area. The beds were comfy but the view was the parking lot and the road, no lake view. Also found out no hot tub, so please fix the google description because that was a huge disappointment when I got there and found out there was not one.

Fine if you're just there to sleep. The staff is really nice and the prices are decent for the area. It is a five minute drive to the actual harbor area. Lots of great restaurants. There is a cafe right next door that we never got to visit.
We were checked in and given really cute old fashioned door keys. And we were given a complimentary bottle of wine that serves two glasses.

We have always stayed at the Lull-abi when our business brings us to Egg Harbor. It was a nice little hotel with good value. It was always clean and the previous owner had little touches like microwave popcorn, real glasses, extra pillows, a cutting board and knife, and just over the top great customer service.
But sadly, there was none of that on our recent (and last) stay at the hotel under the new management.

Nice overnight stay in Egg Harbor. You can explore the whole Door while stashing your stuff and exploring down the Door. Rooms were nice, very clean, had a slight view of the lake from room 23. Great stay, friendly guy Bruce to take care of things. Oh, and I liked that you took care of the bill at the beginning, your already technically charged anyway when making a booking, so this just speeds the process to get you on your way. Oh and we left a small pillow if we could get the chance to get it back.

This is a good place and very reasonably priced. The communication was very fast. I needed to change my room and had updated confirmation within 2 minutes of sending the email.
Couple of negatives/nuances:
1) You have to pay up front on arrival?
2) I had some friends who had to change rooms as the hotel was full and the owner would not agree to coordinate the cleaning of the two rooms so that they could just move there things, he simply said we have 24 rooms and this is Door County so you should be out doing things anyway!?! (The owner did coordinate this the next day but left them frustrated

A very pleasant two day stay for the weekend. Other reviewers have captured the essence--no frills, old school motel.
The best part is the Wifi connection automatically connects--I hate wrestling with sign-ins at hotels every time I try to log in.
The only reason I gave it a four is because there was some uncomfortable stain on one of our bedspreads. Just made me wonder how often they get washed.

I had my first stay at the Lull-Abi Inn this weekend and it most definitely won't be my last. My sister and I went up to Door County for a girl's weekend and found this unexpected gem in Egg Harbor. Bruce was so friendly upon our arrival and was very helpful with dinner suggestions.
The room was perhaps one of the cleanest rooms I have ever stayed in, and this is something I am very picky about. But since Lull-Abi was a nice, unexpected surprise I will stay nice and forget their onamastic mistake.

This is one of the most reasonable motels in Door County. The location is good - a short walk from downtown Egg Harbor with its restaurants, shops, and harbor; and next door to the Village Café, which is amazing - and it's right on Highway 42. The rooms are a nice size and meticulously clean. There are just as many amenities as there should be: we appreciated the fridge (for cheese and beer!) and free wireless internet, in particular. We also liked that the room had a small table and chairs. Plus, they sell good Wisconsin beer in the lobby, and provide tons of brochures for local attractions
