Services
Elizabeth is a Registered Dental Assistant with Extended functions, and has been with our practice since 1995. She earned her Dental Assisting degree while living in Virginia. She later moved to San Diego where she received her Registered Dental Assisting license in 1993. While living in San Diego, Elizabeth had the opportunity to work in both clinics and private practices.
Cindy was born in Texas, she lived in various places until she started high school in El Sobrante, California. She then attended and finished one of the first accredited Registered Dental Assisting programs in state at Contra Costa College. Cindy has been in dentistry since 1976 during which time she has seen lots of changes in the field.
Mary is one of the Registered Dental Assistants at our office. She began her career as a Dental Assistant at a General Dentistry practice in Turlock, California. After receiving her Registered Dental Assisting license two years later, she relocated to the Sacramento area. For the next 10 years, she worked in an office that specialized in Orthodontics and also performed General Dentistry.

Both my wife and I have had Dr. Roslund take care of our teeth for several years. My teeth in particular have problems -- normal I guess for my age of 78. Dr. Roslund is a dedicated, thorough professional who will only do the best possible work. Dr. Roslund always explains procedures in detail so we understand what he is doing. Prices are reasonable. Staff is skilled, friendly, and helpful.

I went to Dr. Ted Roslund to get a crown on a molar. He did an amazing job. He's from the old school of dentistry where the dentist is a craftsman and not a salesman. I live 2 hours away, and I was glad to make the drive, because there just aren't many dentists like him around anymore.
I'd been told I needed a crown by a conventional dentist and immediately pushed into making an appointment to have a porcelain one done. Like any informed consumer, I did the research and found out that, in my case, a gold crown was the most durable and biocompatible alternative. This did not go over

Dr. Roslund is very knowledgeable, kind, gentle, and is able to effectively and thoroughly communicate his diagnosis. It's wonderful being able to put my trust in him and his team without worrying about ill intent or an ill-informed diagnosis. It is for this reason I make the drive out from Sacramento. His staff are also very knowledgeable and gentle, I love that they're not judgmental, from his assistant to the hygienist. Finally, I appreciate the holistic nature of his practice, taking into consideration the connection between sleep problems and oral health, and using Mercury-safe removal

After first appointment (which we had to wait months for) I called to schedule a cleaning, they said it would be 6 months before they could get me in. They do sometimes have cancelations. I am surprised they don't hire enough help to accommodate their patients. Ted is nice enough but it seems his patient load is too large for his office help. This unfortunately forced us to seek out of area dentist. Folsom has high tech, fantastic DDS that you can schedule within a 2-week time frame (even new appts).
