After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania Dental School, I returned to California to attend to the failing health of my father. I worked in many different places but mainly devoted my time to non-profit clinics in smaller rural areas, which allowed me time to be closer to my family, as well as work with those who did not have the benefits of living in a large city.

I have gone to this dentist for the last two years and I had an amazing positive experience. Dr. Ike is talented, skilled, and a gentle dentist. This is an excellent dental office in all areas of service. Dr. Rahimi provides many services that most dentists would refer out to others. The staff and hygienists are professional while also keeping the humor and friendly atmosphere, making it a less stressful visit. The little dog is also joyful! Thanks to you all!

I had a good experience at Mallard Lane Dental getting a dental implant. The staff was knowledgeable and I felt like I was in the best hands possible. They were able to give me an estimate for my procedure right away, and my insurance covered 100% of it. I highly recommend them if you need any sort of dental work done!

I had a great experience at Mallard Lane Dental getting my teeth cleaned. My dental hygienist was very friendly and knowledgeable, she answered all of my questions. She walked me through the process step by step to make sure I knew what was happening and why it was important. The entire staff is so caring about their patients. It's refreshing to find such an amazing dentist office

Amazing dental office from Dr Rahimi to all of the staff. They're all extremely friendly and efficient. The office itself is clean, organized and fun (they decorate for each holiday). I have had multiple procedures from standard dental care to a root canal as well as multiple crowns. All were painless!!!! Can't say enough about this group.

My experience from entrance to exit couldn't have been better. The staff and Dr. Rahimi were incredibly pleasant and welcoming. They really have their stuff together as far as check-in process, new patient charting, and making patients feel comfortable. They were thorough, professional, and fun. My cleaning (done by Julie) was zero percent painful, and I left with my teeth feeling squeaky clean. I highly recommend this office.

The front desk lady, Melissa, is absolutely awful. I called to cancel my appointment and was very apologetic because I unexpectedly had to need to pick up my niece from school. Melissa pauses and says "you know we've already rescheduled this appointment quite a few times..." I said "okay, I'm sorry but I have an emergency that I need to take care of". She then says, "you really can't make it today? Cassandra set aside an hour to take care of YOUR teeth today..." I then said "I don't know what you don't understand

I moved to the area a few years and was in need for a new dentist. I chose Dr. Rahimi's and am not disappointed. He is a wonderful, caring dentist who knows his stuff. The staff is professional and the office is very clean. They also offer drinks in the waiting area.
I love my dental hygienist Kandice. She is kind and does a great job helping me with things I can do at home in between visits.

Dr. Rahimi amazing person who loves his craft and patients. Dr. Rahimi is continually taking taking classes so that he can provide his patients with the best and latest techniques in his field. He is honest and friendly. Dr. Rahimi takes a holistic approach to dentistry and encourages family, exercise, and balance of life for overall good health. Dr. Rahimi is great at explaining dental procedures in simple and understandable terms. He has shared with me videos that he developed to explain dental procedures to his patients.

Today was my first visit at this office. I did not see the dentist but received a cleaning from the Hygienist, who was amazing. The office was beautiful, clean and spacious. All of the equipment was state of the art. I am a Registered Dental Assistant so I have been in quite a few offices and know when I see a good one. I received the new patient special which was $89, very affordable and worth it. The front office staff was very friendly and I didn't have to wait to be seen. I received a tour of the office and was very impressed. I felt welcomed, not rushed or like an inconvenience

I'm being generous with an extra star. Only because one of the staff is exceptionally nice. This place is not what a dental office should be. Dr Rahimi should be ashamed. The front desk talks to people like a kindergarten teacher would to a class of 5 year olds. Demeaning and truly pathetic. Anyone who is so proud of being "voted #1" as a professional as to print it on business cards and to display this assumed fact is an embarrassedment to the profession.

AVOID! This is not what a dental experience should be. Dr. Rahimi pressures you to prepay with cash for multiple procedures. He unnecessarily sedated me to eliminate the pain instead of just being gentle. I understand it can be uncomfortable, but he took no care to avoid constant pinching. I would rather have a root canal (recently did to fix his filling) from a good dentist than a filling from him. His smile should have been been my first warning. However, the rest of the staff is great.

Okay how many of us like to go to the dentist? Exactly! Well, fear no more. I went to see Dr. Rahimi in Placerville and this office is almost too good to be true. The staff is so nice and genuinly care. The best thing about Dr.Rahimi is that he explains how having bacteria in your mouth is and can be life threatening. I've never had this explained to me before. We don't like to hear bad news, but we need to be educated. He does this, and does it well. We all know dental care is not inexpensive, we just have to prioritize and take care of ourselves. We matter. Thanks for caring Dr.Rahimi

My husband and I went in to get a new dentist since we had just moved to the area and his sign said that they have been voted by the local newspaper as #1 dentist in 2010 and 2011 so we decided to go there.
The ONLY reason I will even give one star is because the staff was sooooo nice.
I got in, Xrays, pictures, and then the exam by Dr. Rahimi. Granted I did need a couple fillings and I was aware of this, but he gave me this 'treatement plan' statement that totaled almost $6,000! My jaw almost hit the floor.
In my plan... a pulled tooth, about 8 cavities, and a cap along with being

This guy is a QUACK!!! He is always telling patients they need work done "right this minute", leading them to believe that if they don't, things will get really bad quickly. He seems to like to pressure senior citizens into trying to get dental work done, the same way... likes to get patients to open new credit accounts, so he can do the work, that day! LOSER! Why is he allowed to have a dog in his office, running around?? I'm not sure that is legal and would think it would be a health code violation... gross! Don't walk....... but RUN from this freak!!

It's weird to give 5 stars to a dentist, since I HATE going to the dentist more than about anything. But I have to say that this practice has impressed me.
