I've been to several different acupuncturists over the years. Some great, some awful.
Dr. Miao is at the top of my list of great acupuncturists!
Since I now am located on the Eastside, I wasn't interested in driving all the way to the Wedgewood area in Seattle to see my previous acupuncturist.
I searched online and found that Dr. Miao's education and credentials fit my requirements.
I went to her with a substantial amount of back, shoulder and arm pain. She did her examination and told me what she would be doing. She quickly inserted a large number of needles asking me how

Dr. Miao is an absolutely incredible acupuncturist. She treats the entire body, mind and spirit. She has a gentle way of placing each needle with enough pressure which is both comforting and effective at treating imbalances in the body.
I've had only one treatment so far and can already feel the difference on a mental and physical level. I look forward to experiencing more treatment from this very unique and effective practitioner.

Dr.Miao is super knowledgeable and has been spectacular with my treatment. I'm noticing results after 3-4 appointments and have been coming back every week. The clinic is very clean, relaxing and I feel better after each session. She truly cares about her patients - I will definitely continue to come back! So happy to have found her.

If you have never had acupuncture before (like me), don't be nervous about seeing Dr. Miao.
My wife and daughter have been treated by Dr. Miao for well over a year with great success. My wife for carpal tunnel and my daughter for anxiety.
Let me preface with that I am a left brain driven, and not a big believer in non-traditional medical practices. I was having an issue with a chronic elbow injury when my wife said "you need to see Dr. Miao". While Dr. Miao was examining my elbow she indicated that my area of pain was associated with the lung meridian, and asked if I was having

I have been to a few other acupuncture places before, but Dr. Miao was ther only one where I saw actual results. Not only is she extreme he seems very knowledgeable in her field and I truly trust her. Within a few visits, she was able to resolve my femine health issues and restore faith in me. I have recommended her to several friends already and would highly recommend her to anyone else seeking east asian methods of healing.

I really like Dr. Miao. She is very caring, and she has a needling technique that is not something i've seen in American-trained acupuncturists. She has a sensitive touch that tells her where the correct points are, and I've seen a significant improvement to my over-all health and well-being since I've been seeing her.

Dr. Miao is beyond patient, tells you what she's doing during the process, and goes out of her way to make you as comfortable as you can especially during the treatment!
Even if this is your first or your fifteenth visit, you'll feel comfortable no matter if you're getting acupuncture, cupping, or a massage. She takes her patient's well-beings seriously and it clearly shows.
