B Project
What back problem? Since starting at b project my fitness and surfing has improved, and there is no looking back. I have confidence in my body again. The body is a project, and demands the care to confidently push limits, while preventing injury. Our mission is to provide an individual approach to physical evolution.

This process begins with defining a person's starting point. The b project methodology identifies each client's areas of dysfunction, and develops a plan to begin self-achievement. We are the guides to function, transforming each client's areas of need into a foundational plan towards optimal physical health and progression.
Services
Mike Anastasia is a licensed Doctor of Physical therapy at b project, receiving his degree from the University of St. Augustine. Having a background as a collegiate athlete in both track and field and surfing, Mike understands how to help athletes and active lifestyle enthusiasts work on their physical ailments and get them back to sport.
After having hip surgery, I was looking for a PT that could not only help me through my rehab, but also could help me regain my strength. The best thing about b project is the dedication that they have towards making your goals a reality. They work one on one with everyone in the gym to be sure that your time there is as productive as possible.
Transitioning from rehabilitation to strength training for health and injury prevention is never easy on your own. Injury recover at b project begins with a Treatment Evaluation by a licensed Physical Therapist and our Certified Training Staff. The evaluation consists of a two-part evaluation; the first part is with a licensed physical therapist where they will assess and treat the problem.

I don't write many reviews unless they are pretty solid. I would like to thank Brad and Mike for all the table work post hip surgery. They were both great and I enjoyed switching between both of them as they each have their own approach. As far as the rehab training, I worked primarily with Will. He was awesome to work with and catered the programming to your goals.

This group is amazing! I've had PT with a few groups over the years and always been disappointed. The reality never came close to my expectation. Here my expectations have been well and truly surpassed. Dr. Mike is so good at hands on manipulation and both JD and Amy have done an amazing job coaching me through workouts that have been challenging but always just within my capabilities. The result has been significant. And fast! Outstanding group of highly skilled pros.

Hands down the best physical therapists I have met! I initially started working with Dr. Mike after having tendon reattachment surgery to my elbow. Within a week, I could use my arm enough feed myself and touch my face for the first time in two months! I am so thankful for what Dr. Mike has helped me with. It made the other occupational and physical therapy seem like a joke.
Now understanding the program that Dr. Brad has created, I plan on continuing their care after my elbow has rehabilitated. A half hour of hands on manual therapy with expert DPT's, then an hour of one-on-one mobility and rehab

B Project is nothing like any PT I have had. I tore my hamstring and after PRP I was ready to rebuild. The combination of bodywork by Brad and a routine that progresses each week is amazing. They also address your weaknesses and how you move. They are expensive and did not take my insurance but after 2 weeks someplace else I made the investment in my body. 8 weeks and I was stronger and ready to go on my own. I have been 100% healthy since. They are athletes who understand athletes, I am an Ironman triathlete.

My experience at B Project was outstanding. I first came to them while trying to recover from shoulder surgery after a mountain bike accident, having done poorly with standard physical therapy, and with little confidence that I would get full function back. Brad and his staff evaluated my injury and started me on a personalized treatment plan involving bi-weekly manipulation by the therapist, followed by a strengthening program consisting of one on one supervision by a personal trainer. The staff was always encouraging, supportive, and positive. After a few weeks, I began to see improvement in

I went to B Project after I broke my neck. I did not want to do surgery since the break was "stable". After 3 months of doing nothing but laying around, I was advised by a friend to call up B Project. He told me they did not take insurance but it was well worth it. I could not agree more. The treatment and care received was above anything I expected. My physical and mental self means a lot to me. I had to re-prioritize my personal budget but it was well worth it.
3.5 years later, I still go to B Project for their personal training sessions. The personal care and attention of how I move my body

I broke my neck in 2015 and a good friend recommended I go to B Project, BUT they did not take insurance. I had no idea what I was getting myself into but I value my friend's opinion. Once I was cleared for PT, I made the appointment and started going. I was out of work at the time and on a limited budget. However, I knew I needed to get back to my normal active self as soon as possible. The care I received is better than I could have ever imagined. I was on the table and it was painful, as one could expect after 3 months of muscles contracting. I was then on the training floor doing

These guys are AWESOME. Brad, Kristina and his crew really know their stuff! I was progressing deeply into Osteoarthritis pain and heading toward a Total Knee Replacement. Brad analyzed that through all the years of "compensating" that my muscles had both tightened AND weakened, compromising my knee and giving me chronic pain. Through manipulation (the good kind of pain) and a workout regimen, I'm on my way to my normal daily activities (surfing, biking, snowboarding, etc) after just a few sessions. If you are in pain, these guys are worth your time!!

In 2010 I began experiencing chronic calf issues during my runs. Brad treated me which enabled me to recover. Next, he developed a unique monthly training program designed specifically for my running goals. The training cycle improved my running form, lowered my times, and strengthened my weaker areas to reduce the risk of injury. They also document your progression. Their guidance has enabled me to return to running. They are my support team for all things strength-related and injury-related.

I've been an avid surfer for 35+ years. At the ripe age of 46 I'm also doing Jiujitsu 3 times a week. Needless to say my body is not what is used to be but I still expect it to perform. My level of activity is made possible by the work that Brad Jones at B Project does for me. I tear myself up and he puts me back together. Ankles, knee, hips, shoulders, you name it. B Project is a life saver.

Have been seeing Brad on and off for the past four years for gait issues. He is simply the best physical therapist I've ever been to, particularly as far as working with athletes. I can't say enough good things about him. Not only does he have a depth of knowledge about the body that's unmatched, he's also very personable and easy to talk with. I've learned, unfortunately, over the years that some of the best PT's or other professionals can have an "attitude". Not so with Brad, he's not condescending or arrogant. And he doesn't pressure you to keep

B project is the best facility for physical therapy and core conditioning I have ever been to. Brad Jones is one of the most talented and knowledgeable therapist (rpt) and experts in conditioning and whole body function in the country. He has worked for and with the US Olympic team and some of the best athletes in the world. Do yourself a favor and check this facility out. You will not regret it.
