I got married at Lafayette last month. (If you're considering it, this review's for you.) Now that everything is done and settled, I can write down an honest and somewhat detailed review.

My now husband and I had our small wedding here in November. I worked with Kim who is the Conference Service Manager to help plan. Most of these stars are for her :) She was great. She was super easy to talk to and answered all of my questions. She rolled easily with all my changes (as there were many lol.) I have to agree with several previous reviewers that the service at this venue is quite disappointing. I called for reservations for their Thanksgiving buffet ... was transferred seven times and hung up on twice.
We actually did have Thanksgiving dinner here, which was an even bigger disappointment. (we've enjoyed their Thanksgiving buffet in the past) The service was fine ... the food was awful! They didn't have full turkey or ham choices, just sliced (white meat only) turkey breasts. The potatoes and stuffing were out of a box and everything tasted the same. The deserts were

Waste of money!
The people at the front desk were rude and disrespectful. No customer service. They sneak in a $25.00 dollar fee for parking. The food at the restaurant is disgusting!
The fireplace in the room does not work, the clock on the wall did not work and the toilet did not properly flush.
Do not stay here or eat here.

I called to schedule a surprise massage at the spa for my fiancé for the weekend before our wedding as a little de-stress gift. I asked if I could simply use his included pool pass for myself since he is not planning on using it to allow myself to relax before the wedding at the pool while I wait for him to get his massage. I thought this was a reasonable request since I am paying for his massage, why can't I use his pool pass. The employee at the spa said that she spoke with her director and said that she is not allowed to do that for me. I find that extremely unaccommodating especially

I have been a regular customer at this hotel for over six years and was very happy with the service until today. After traveling for 8 ours and arriving at the hotel by 8pm. There was not one person to assist with luggage or parking. I believe that Covid has been a way to charge higher prices and to drastically reduce services to the end consumer.

Decided to had a quick staycation in the location area with my partner so we booked this hotel for 2 nights. The experience was amazing!
1. We did not have any problem finding a parking here since it was plenty. Never needed to use valet so it saved us a few bucks.
2. The staff was so friendly and attentive. I asked for a big and high view and they could be able to accommodate. Not a problem at all.
3. The place is very quiet, we could be able to enjoy ourselves in the room and haven't been outside for 2 days. We order food delivery to our room with no issue at all.
4. We love the Pool

My husband booked this hotel for 2 nights, Sunday, June 13 and Monday, June 14, 2021 to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
Let's start with the positive first: the hotel is beautiful and the room was very cozy. As a French citizen myself, I really appreciate the French style and decor of this place.
But what a disappointment in terms of services, basically you get absolutely zero service. The restaurant and spa were closed. And no room service, you're on your own to order food or drinks. Not even a a bottle of water in the room?
The 24/7 gym was also closed on Monday morning when I tried

I have stayed at this hotel twice in the last two weeks and over I give them high marks. I have had a couple small issues but these were resolved quickly. During this covid time daily housekeeping must be requested which I understand and support, however they should do something regarding the in room coffee. Each time I stayed two nights and each time on day two I didn't have coffee or cream when I got up. Perhaps placing enough for two days in the rooms? That allows for not needed service on additional days and still proving a decent amenity. Just a suggestion

Beautiful hotel but horrible customer service. I was trying to do some work on my laptop in their lobby and the hotel manager approached me and asked me to remove my feet from the coffee table because I had my feet on them to prop up my laptop. I was only wearing flip flops
I tried to explain to him that I am working and that ever other 4 star hotel I have been to I have never once had a complaint about that and I am the only one in the room...

This absolutely the best spa in the area. The hotel is also nice and I highly recommend the cocktails in their restaurant bar. The spa is the reason we visit here though. My mom and sister and I like to book during the weekday when they have specials and make a day out of it. Especially when it is warm weather and you can lay out at the pool. It's very quiet here and relaxing to just sit by the pool or in the hot tub and enjoy a beverage. They have a hummus and veggie plate they can deliver to the pool which we always get. There is a phone at the pool that you just use to call and order

Very nice Sunday brunch at the Lafayette. First of all, go valet or you can self park in the garage. I advise you make reservations. If you have a bigger party there is a room for you close to the entrance. The workers are very nice and attentive. The brunch is open til 2, with a entree you can chose off their menu. There is a variety of a bit of everything for the fruit and salad lovers. Do you have a sweet tooth... their chocolate bread pudding and bite size bites are perfect. After two trips at lower class hotels, we ponied up some more money and stayed here while on biz in Walnut Creek. It was worth it.

*Quiet despite its proximity to the freeway

My room faced the wishing well courtyard and the lighting was pretty bright even with the drapes drawn. They did turn all the outside lights off around 11pm-ish.
Looking forward to staying here next time.

I Don't usually write review on Hotel, but once in the blue moon I do write a quick and short review.
1) The hotel is fancy, elegant and very well design and gorgeous floor plan.
2) Valet parking: good so your car is safe and secure. Down fall will be cost.
3) Hotel staffs were nice and professional and treat all their guests with up most respect.
4) The hotel room was nice and clean. Bed was comfy and the fire place is awesome... The down fall is there are lots of small wear and tear in the vast groom that need to be updated.
Overall, it's a great place to stay and enjoy a weekend

My husband & I wanted to do something fun for our 1st wedding anniversary but didn't want to drive far. We had been doing an exercise challenge for 5 weeks (30 minutes of cardio every day + 5 workouts at the gym per week). We were pretty sore so we decided, why not get a massage!
We booked a couples massage 3 weeks in advance & scheduled it for the end of the day. They book up 4-5 weeks in advance in the summer, so make sure you plan accordingly. They only had 2 available time slots the day I requested.
We arrived an hour early so we could enjoy the pool, hot tub & sauna.

My daughter and I came here to attend a Christmas party given by my former company and as a venue for the event, the place was wonderful! The festive decor was fitting to the warmth of the Yuletide season. Service was never lacking and always present for refills and servicing tables of the used flatware.
