This review is for Maria who does magic to my hair! I got a haircut in early 2021 and then a Brazilian blow out in Dec.

I came here back in May to fix the wreck of a haircut I gave myself during quarantine and I saw Salon Stilo on ClassPass (but Salon Stilo is no longer on it) so I decided to give it a try and I'm soooo glad I did because I'm never going somewhere else to get my hair cut. No one touches my hair except for Maria!

I have very coarse wavy hair and lots of it so definitely not an easy task to make it look good. I just told Maria to give me some layers and face framing

Such a pleasant experience at this salon!! It was my first time and I was thoroughly taken care of by Christina! She was AMAZING!! As soon as I met her she had really great energy that made me excited to get my hair color and cut. I was also going in there not knowing what I wanted for my hair, but came out loving it!! We talked for a bit bouncing off different ideas for a new hair color as well as cut. She recommended something more caramel, but still staying light. I also wanted a hair cut that was face framing and she executed it perfectly!! I couldn't be anymore happy with my experience

I called for an appointment after seeing the reviews even though I live an hr away. They wanted to test my hair a day before the apt which was great! Made me believe that it was gonna be the best hair apt ever.. I sent pictures prior and went to the salon. Maria was very nice, she cut a piece of my hair to test it , called me later to say that everything was fine and we should proceed with the apt the next day. I wanted to get a balayage/ foilyage with mixed brown colors. I sent picture, she knew exactly what I wanted. I also wanted a bit of a cut and beach waves. I'm really not that complicated

This review is looong overdue, but, it's a good one.
Walking into Salon Stilo feels like walking into the cool girls section of your high school's locker room but with the sweetest girls. Everyone there makes you feel welcome, following the example of their girl boss, Mola. Not only is she kind and attentive to detail, she is extremely gifted at her job. I'm so happy I was able to get in to see her.
If you are looking for someone who specializes in ombré/balayage or anything else, look no further, you will not be disappointed!

A few years back, I had my hair done at another salon and the technique they used just wasn't suited for my virgin hair. The whole process had me sitting in the chair for far too long, it ended up damaging my hair plus the color was just incredibly brassy when I was going for an ash blonde. In a panic, I reached out to Mola and she came to the rescue! She was mindful to allow some time to pass so that my hair wouldn't be over processed (even though I was dying to get my hair fixed ASAP!)

She was able to fix it and get it to the color I wanted. I learned my lesson! I continue to see

Maria is the BEST! I have been a hairdresser for 30 years, neglect self care and have difficult hair. Maria listened and gave me 100% exactly what I wanted. My hair can be challenging and she flat out slayed. I am so happy I found Salon Stilo and Maria.

I was referred by a friend and decided this is the place that will add color to my 13 year old who has never had color in her hair. I admit I was nervous, growing up I was not allowed to alter/modify anything about me. But given that it's 2021 and she brought straight A+'s (one A) home I had to fulfill her desire. Maria does my hair and she's absolutely amazing. She's patient and funny and I feel very relaxed in her hands. The color always comes out gorgeous whether I'm asking for brown, silver and everything else between.

Also Salon Stilo is super clean, the music is fun, and the vibe is always great.

I've been following Mola from salon to salon for the past 7 years. I was so excited when she opened up her own! She's the only one that I trust with my hair.

From ombre to balayage highlights and recently mauve-y purple/pink highlights I've loved every color treatment she's done for me.

I'm naturally brunette with fine hair; if you're looking for beautiful extensions or to go blonde, go see Mola! Everyone is shocked when I tell them I have extensions because they're blended to perfection. I've had so much fun playing with my hair over the past 3 years seeing Mola.

It's been a month since I got my Balayage and haircut done and it still looks amazing! Mola is skilled, patient, and passionate. Especially since I came in with already colored and processed hair, she carefully considered my desired look and assessed the steps necessary to achieve a beautiful outcome. This review is for Mola. I have been going to her for more than 10 years! This says a lot because I have never stayed with the same stylist for more than 2 years. Mola is super passionate about her craft and she's damn good at it! She is meticulous, detailed orientated, and ensures you do not leave until your hair looks perfect. If you somehow don't like something (you won't have many of those times trust me) she will be more than happy to fix the issue.

Yes, there is a premium you'd have to pay, but do not be turned off by the pricing. There is a reason why stylists price

Initially, I was skeptical to go to a salon during this pandemic; however, Salon Stilo has an appropriate covid preventative procedure that ultimately made me feel safe.

I requested an appointment and Shannon emailed me back really quickly and efficiently. She has emailed me about my current hair condition inspiration photos. Unfortunately, I have box dye present in my hair (I dyed my hair beginning of 2019 and started growing it out), and they made a test strand appointment to make sure I still have the integrity of my hair kept.

After doing a lot of research on salons in my area, I finally decided on Salon Stilo for my first haircut in FIVE YEARS (My hair had become naturally curly in the last few years, and I wanted to see how it would grow out).

Monica Nguyen cut my hair. She was super friendly and was very honest with me on how much I had to take off the ends. Though I was reluctant to cut off so much, my hair feels so much healthier now and I love the layers she added. She also styled it at the end with a curling iron. The haircut was ~1 hr and cost $75 before tip.

November 4, 2020. Came back to touch up my hair during COVID times. Their COVID Protocols are LEGIT! First, they send out a COVID form that you would need to fill out and submit. As soon as you get there, there is a sign out front mentioning clients need to wait outside to be assisted before entering! As soon as you walk in, one of the ladies will check you in, take your temperature, and spray your shoes with a type of disinfectant spray. I've been salon hopping for a while before I've finally found Salon Stilo! I have been coming here for over a year now and am happy with my hair every time - trust me, it has gone wrong so many times before!!!

My go-to hair stylist is Monica Nguyen (for both balayage and cut). She is very professional and knows exactly what she is doing. It was very easy to book an appointment online. I made the appointment request Tuesday night and got a call Wednesday morning confirming the appointment. Many of the stylists have training through Bumble&Bumble, Oribe, etc. I had a great time with Moira. She listened to what I wanted, asked lots of questions, and made sure we had a game plan before she started cutting.
