This beginner's level yoga series consists of 26 hatha poses and two breathing exercises that are simple, restorative, and therapeutic. The movements and postures practiced in this class will work to strengthen and tone the body, while detoxifying it through added heat. The repetitive nature of this class allows students at all levels and ages to track their progress and elevate through consistent practice.
If so, we have everything you need to begin your practice in the most seamless way possible. At Agni Yoga, we are committed to creating a welcoming space by empowering all of our new members with guidance and support from the moment they start their yoga journey. Bring your practice to Agni Yoga with our introductory 5 class pass.
Over the course of seven weekends, you will learn the origins of 26&2, yoga philosophy & ethics based on The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, the foundations of sequencing and alignment, and explore how to safely offer adjustments and guidance during practice. Upon successful completion, you will earn a RYT 200 Yoga Alliance Certificate and have the foundational knowledge to lead students through a 90-minute 26&2 class.

This is a beautiful studio, with newly remodeled dressing rooms and a brand new layout. Agni offers amazing hot 26/2 classes as well as a more advanced option, which is also open to everyone. There is also yin yoga, healing sound meditation classes incorporating kundalini yoga, and soon there will be a one of a kind class in the beautifully redesigned lobby, where the entire back wall is made to hold movable bars and ropes and other tools. One's own body weight will be used as the mechanism of change!

You will not find a better yoga experience than Agni Yoga. From the moment you make contact with the owners Julie and Leah, you will feel welcomed and cared for........unconditionally. I've been practicing at the studio for several years. Even through COVID and a beautiful studio remodel.......they are teaching classes in the studio and offer zoom sessions for those who aren't ready yet. The community they have created is something that keeps me grounded and their expertise in guiding yoga classes is unprecedented. Please support this studio.

I started coming here just over a year ago and cannot believe how much my physical and mental health has improved since then. This yoga is not easy, but they encourage you to go at your own pace and slowly you actually start to look forward to sitting in a very hot and humid room for an hour and half. Before I started, I realized I let myself become very out of shape and simply did not feel like myself anymore. My goal in the beginning was just trying to stay in the room for the whole class, which is honestly a challenge. Slowly I began feeling stronger, leaner, and even

I have practiced Bikram Yoga for 20 years at many studios, including San Francisco, the Bay Area and in other States. Bikram Yoga SE Portland is the best of all and I believe it is because of the owners, Leah and Julie. Their energy and the energy of the other teachers is amazing. It is a welcoming and supportive environment, the studio is clean and the radiant heat panels are unlike any other I’ve experienced. I just recently moved to Oregon and as soon as I got locked in at my work location, I began looking for a studio to practice at. My first go-round (at a different location) didn't work out for me. This place is the best. I cannot believe the incredible peace of mind my practice here gives me. I am sleeping better than I ever have in my life. I am so much calmer in the day to day, and my practice has given me so much clarity. And I can finally touch my toes! And the studio is beautiful. I can't say enough good things about this studio. The owners, Julie and Leah have created such an incredible place. It's clean, welcoming, well run and the cedar wall in the hot room is fantastic. All the teachers I've taken classes from have been knowledgeable and supportive. Bikram yoga is crazy intense and yet this studio also manages to make it fun. It's just such an awesome, challenging yet relaxing environment. If you've been curious about Bikram yoga, but were on the fence, definitely check out a class at this studio!
