Services
Whether you're a beginner, intermediate, or fitness enthusiast, our workouts are customized for you and your skill level. Each fitness class is one hour and focuses on strength and conditioning. Your program varies daily, in order to help prevent boredom and fitness plateaus. Conditioning doesn't have to be boring!

I loved working out at Total Body. The atmosphere is so relaxing. He had us start off with some yoga. He also does his workouts that are specific to the clients needs. The prices are affordable . I recommend this to any person who is looking for a trainer that pays attention to your needs and who does different workouts and mixed things up so it’s not boring.

Jean Carlos, the owner, is very friendly and informative. The small class size made it so I could get that one on one time and help with perfecting my workout. The programs are geared to each person specifically so I can really focus on what I wasn't to improve!

I dropped into JC's class because I used to frequent his gym when I lived in San Antonio. I came back for a business trip and I definitely wasn't disappointed. I really enjoyed the class because it was challenging and I felt great once we were finished. It was a mixture of strength training and ab work. I learned a lot of different movements and exercises. JC has really helped me reach my fitness goals in a short period of time, and I am much more confident about my fitness abilities now. He also helped customize a work out plan that I can take with me.

Today was my first day at Total Body Training and I had a great time! Jean Carlos was very attentive and helped me target the areas I told him I wanted to work on. He helped me with my form, which is something I used to seriously struggle with. The space is large and he has a plethora or equipment used to target certain muscle groups. I explained what I struggled with and he was able to show me plans that I could do to meet the goals I have for myself. Jean Carlos is very friendly and he is very knowledgeable about what he does. I will certainly be back!

My experience at Total Body Training so far. Jean is a great trainer, so thorough and well versed in what he does. He shows great attention to detail for each of his clients and puts a lot of focus on creating plans that are suited for each person. This is a totally different training experience and all in positive ways! Also his workout playlists slap 👋🏽

You’re in good hands at Total Body Fitness. Jean Carlos will customize work outs around the goals you are working towards. This studio takes away the anxieties of planning work outs at the gym and Jean Carlos helps to hold you accountable by texting you reminders to come to class. I really enjoy the strength training I’ve done here.

It's like having a private trainer but with the fun of a group session. Everything is tailored to you and the trainer is extremely helpful with posture and making sure you're getting the most out of your workout. Very clean and comfortable setting.

Jean Carlos is a caring trainer who does very well with constructive criticism, explaining exercises, explaining the movement, explaining how and why it works, and explaining why it is all important. Jean Carlos is a ROCK STAR when it comes to training! My results have been nothing short of amazing. Even though I'm on hiatus right now because of an unrelated injury, he's still encouraging me and helping me find things to do that fit within the scope of my rehab. I highly recommend checking it out; just be prepared to actually have a work out at this gym (something we all need).
I've been to many gyms in San Antonio, some were bigger and/or had more equipment (you don't need and won't use it all), but none of them kept me on my toes like this one.

I have been at TBT for the past two months & it's a wonderful decision to make if you want working out to be fun and challenging. Jean Carlos is a great instructor who encourages you every step of the way (and provides alternative work outs that are as effective if you happen to have a certain muscle/joint prone to injury). For my personal experience, I started low on weights and went up by 20lbs more within the next 2 months. I can definitely say I built muscle and got stronger :) Also, working out in groups made it more motivating because I made it a challenge to complete more reps

I was never going to get anywhere by pedaling on a recumbent bike watching food network and travel channel (however fantastic that sounds). Over the past 4-5 months with high intensity interval training, I've seen very noticeable improvements in my strength and stamina. Every training session is challenging, different, and fun
