Yes, we work with all insurance companies. However, we are NOT a Direct Repair shop (DRP). We find that working as DRP shop can sometimes be inadequate because certain agreements can force us to cut corners in the quality of a repair. By state law, you have the right to choose any body shop you want even if your insurance company tells you otherwise.

I had a quote from German Auto Body(GAB) for a seemingly minor damage on my BMW, even though I pointed out certain areas of concern.
The estimator was quick to suggest ordering the parts(which I had to pay upfront), but I declined since insurance might not agree.
Subsequently I went to a BMW certified shop which worked with the adjuster on the right course of action.

I don't know where to start, I only have good things to say about John the owner and his business German Auto Body. My car had a custom bumper that was in a collision, John and his team was the ONLY body shop in the area willing to take on the project to replace it. During the time of going back and forth with insurance, Diana and Alexis the receptionist were very helpful on keeping me informed. 2-3 weeks later I go to pick up my car and i was in shock of how good it came out! (Better than it was before)

Just received my Audi S5 back from German Auto Body today and it is in mint condition, as if it had never been in a collision. I was hit from the rear and pushed into the car in front of me. Besides extensive body damage, many of the electronics/radar/etc. was damaged. John is a perfectionist and that is to his customers benefit. German Auto Body made all the repairs and even sent the car to Audi to make sure all the safety and distance sensors were calibrated to factory standards. I wish I could give +10 stars! I would never let anyone else repair my vehicles and would recommend them highly! I am not too easy to please, either. I have been their customer since 2009 after my brand new SUV at the time was hit on HWY 280.
The biggest bonus is you get the pleasure of working with - Debbie! She is A-MAZING....plus she is a library of knowledge who guides her customers through the nasty business of the CA auto insurance industry. See John over there great guy with a great team.
I walked in off the street with an emergency request to have a part fabricated for a pump not even related to the automobileindustry. Him and his team knocked my request out of the park!
Because of their help I was able to get my buildings HVAC system back on line that day which otherwise would have take a week if I had not found him.

Best auto body service! No one comes close to the level of service and auto care these guys provide. I have been taking my cars here for over 10 years with damages ranging from minor scratches to severe body damage, and every time my cars have come out better than before the damages even occurred. My new car got side swiped, damaging the door and front fender extensively. Mark was able to repair the fender and replace everything else with OEM parts (as required by my leasing company). A month ago, the car was taken to a respected Santa Clara body shop. They took one look at the German Auto Body repair and asked, "Who did this work?" It was that bad. Our car was involved in an accident that required replacement of the radiator support. In a $9000 repair, German Auto Body replaced the radiator support. Fun fact: That job requires welding the new support into place, and if the weld fails the car is structurally unsound and unsafe.

I took my 911 to German Auto Body after using Porsche's website to locate an "approved collision center" in the Bay area. The initial repair estimate was woefully under the actual and the timeline increase from "a week or so" to nearly two months. Yikes! This facility is in need of some serious help with their overall process. I turned in my car for repairs before Christmas of 2018. Long story short; my car is still not ready. Each time I call I get the runaround, even from the Manager, John. Each time I call, I am lead to believe the car might be ready this week. Surprise! It is still not ready. The story changes with each phone conversation. Even if I assume no one worked on the car until the start of the new year, it will still have been 8 weeks at the end of this week since I've seen my car.

I've used this shop twice and had acceptable results. Most recently I ask shop to price match a auto body shop who gave me a lower price quote for some chip repair just $50 off. Well long story short German Auto Body Owner said "can't do it". I just wanted to feel like I was getting a good deal. I did get several quotes from other shop for $700 the same price quoted to me by German Auto Body. Some owners just don't realize, to give me just $50 off would have kept me a customer for life and they would have made that $50 back in future work. For the record I would have been happy with $10 off.

Came here a while ago for a side impact on my 04 GLI. Originally I felt they did an absolutely great job but after I washed/detailed myself later on I found they pried off the side skirt with what looked to be a flat head screwdriver. This left little marks all around the side skirt. I didn't get my center cap/wheel lock tool back. The final nail in the coffin for me was my mirror falling off on the same side they had to do the work on while on a highway onramp.
Work was quick and they did a great job repairing and blending the paint though. Maybe a lazy employee trying to get the job done too

Helpful, professional, and competent staff. The reception/admin staff were very friendly and provided great customer service. The repairs to my front and rear bumper look perfect. I took my 2001 BMW X5 in for repair after a fender bender where other driver was at fault. Folks at German Auto Body were super helpful and took excellent care of me and my car. They handled every aspect of my rental car needs, including calling the rental shop to pick me up, requesting an extension for rental car and when all was done, I just left the rental with German auto and they returned it for me. German Auto Body delivers! I took my BMW 335i here a couple of years ago for some body work and they did an excellent job restoring the car to excellent condition. Fast forward a couple of years years, I go there today to get a license plate frame installed because of a ticket and they install it no questions asked. On top of that, they fixed up some gnarly scratches I had on the front bumper free of charge. That's superb customer service if you ask me. I highly recommend them for any body work and have recommended them to many friends already.
