Hi! I'm Lilia Schastlivaya, owner and massage therapist at Joy of Healing Massage Therapy in Duvall, WA. We have thoroughly enjoyed living in Bellevue, Redmond and Bothell. We are very proud to be citizens of the United States. I speak English and also speak Russian fluently. After graduating from the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan in 1994 as a Medical Doctor, I worked in Rehabilitative Medicine for 16 years.
This method of massage is used to relieve tension in muscles and fascia or connective tissue. Deep tissue massage focuses on the deep muscles located below the superficial muscles by using a set of techniques and strokes to achieve the relief of pain and relaxation of the deep muscles. I use this type of massage for clients who suffer from consistent pain or who have physical injury.

After having a spinal injury accident- I tried to find a local massage therapist that worked with spinal injuries. Lilia was amazing. Looking at the whole body and working it with precision and attention to my needs. Since working through the injury- I continue to go back for both relaxing and therapeutic massages. She has just the right pressure and release. I feel wonderful afterwords. I recommend her. Very professional, thorough and knowledgeable .
