If you want to know the truth about a business read the bad reviews. I believe them. The hotel didn't even bother to respond online. The good reviews are likely bought and paid for by this business. I won't be staying here. Too many repeat people saying the desk Attendant and owners are rude and unaccommodating. It scares me. No thanks!

We stayed at The Chateau in July, had to leave due to a family emergency. The staff were so helpful and understanding. They rebooked our room and gave us a credit towards a future stay. we were able to rebook at the end of August they made the transaction seamless. Not only would I stay here again, but it is the only place we will stay!!

What a wonderfully relaxing experience at the Chateau Inn! The property itself is rich in history and very well maintained. The owner Scott is personable and great to converse with! The front desk staff of Jeff, Sage, and April are very accommodating and always ready to assist to ensure our stay was nothing less than perfect! The area is serene and the beaches very quiet and clean. We are definitely coming back as much as we can! Oh and Kim's flower arrangements are that added touch of excellence!

Location in Spring Lake (charming town) is great. We stayed in a Classic Suite. The rooms were clean, but the location (right on the street and next to the bikes) and the layout of the suite was disappointing. In addition the air conditioning units (which blocked the street noise somewhat) had a mildew smell that gave me a headache. There was no breakfast provided except coffee (“due to the pandemic”), but people still gathered in the cafe area. Overall it was not worth the price.

Words cannot begin to describe how pleased my wife and I were with our stay here. It all began with the warm welcome from the Pleasant and informative greeters at the front desk. When we got to our room we were blown away by how immaculate the room was, not so much as dust in the corners. The ambiance was aesthetically pleasing and very intimate. The penthouse parlor made us feel like the only people staying there. It was absolutely amazing and I highly recommend a stay here. We'll be back in October for sure!

Beautiful hotel. Updated, clean and beautifully decorated. Due to CovId, no breakfast offered but they do offer complimentary coffees and iced tea in the lobby. Close walk to main shopping area where there’s a few places for breakfast/lunch. Safe area, we parked in nearby lot when parking lot was full. It’s only half a block away. Great area for walking to lake, park.
