Since November of 2003, Gary Hernandez Martial Arts/Karate and the RDT System of Self-Defense has been providing instruction in the martial arts in the Zephyrhills, FL area. Our school has been seen on ABC Action News and TV-PBS, Voice of America, and also Tampa Bay's Local Cable shows on Martial Arts. The origin and history of Martial Arts is a controversial issue. One can see signs of martial arts in Egyptian, Greek, African, Japanese, Chinese, Thai, as well as other cultures. The first fighting systems on earth probably evolved alongside humans because mankind must have always had a need to defend himself against animals, as well as against his fellow man.
We Offer a our School classes in Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido, Kickboxing, The RDT Self-defense System, The RDT Cane self-defense and Canemaster system, And aklo Combat Knife fighting. Students and enthusiasts of martial arts have many reasons for their interest in the martial arts. Some are drawn to the physical fitness and weight-loss aspects of training.
