Trevor, the manager of the complex, uses practices that are misleading and unfair business practices. When he is the wrong he never admits it and uses his authority to get him out of situations when he wrongs the customer.
Trevor sold me on getting a signing bonus, anywhere from $1,000-$3,000 when I locked into the apartment. Trevor contacted me and informed me that an exceptional apartment with a “city view” had become available; “it was one of a kind” he said. I requested pictures but never received a single photo because he knew his description was misleading and unfair. I was excited

I love all of the amenities, people mind their business, the building frequently hosts events, the free coffee is a plus and I hate yet to see a but. However, the walls are pretty thin and you can hear other tenants in your home. Additionally, in building two their are two children who run the halls of the 4th floor every single night. This is no exaggeration, they literally run the halls late at night as if there parents have no consideration for fellow tenants. In my opinion, it is not on the children and more so on the parents for allowing this behavior. Furthermore, the Baxter is a nice place

I recently moved into the apartment complex, and have found the experience so far amazing! The Baxter apartments are fairly new, and the units are quite modern and nice. I love the location, and proximity to Bardstown Road. The staff is extremely helpful, and very prompt in answering any requests. I am looking forward to staying here.

Horrible place to live. Has horrible management. The person who talked to me and had me sign my lease ended up not working there a week after my move in date. This resulted in confusion between myself and management. On top of that they seem very shady. I left the complex and while turning in the keys we talked about payment plans. Which the manager said would be a certain amount and I would receive an email. After not hearing from them for a month I received a letter with a payment plan we did not discuss with an added extra 4000 dollars to pay. I would NOT recommend living here. It is not worth

This apartment complex was good and you are pretty much paying for location (very high price for amount of space). The new management seems to be more on top of things than the management when I moved in. I enjoyed living here for the year I was there and didn’t have issues. The parking garage is nice but is an extra fee. Also, the residence didn’t really seem to be considerate of others. If your main goal is to be close to bars, I’d recommend. If you have other priorities (space, amenities, quiet, places to walk your dogs) I would not.

I lived and worked here. The management is terrible. The office staff under management is expected to do all of the work. This is why months later residents still contact me that they cannot get ahold of the office. There are major leaks which require weeks of repair which has lead to mold, pest infestations and recently a resident contacted me about a bed bug infestation. It is over priced with low grade appliances, and the Louisville protesting goes straight down Broadway so be prepared for the noise that entails. When I found this apartment I thought it’d be the place of my dreams. It turned out to be my worst nightmare. It’s a horrible place to live. There is absolutely no privacy. You can hear everyone and everything out in the halls and in other apartments. The short amount of time I was there was horrible. I broke my lease off a couple months back. The neighbors are rude and loud. The management is money hungry not to mention the people in the office don’t know what they’re doing at all. There are all types of hidden fees when trying to pay bills online and they are not considerate to COVID

We’ve really enjoyed living at The Baxter Apartments. It’s proximity to downtown hospitals/work, entertainment and restaurants combined with the high ceilings, loads of natural light and clean lines of the appointments are great! Maintenance is very slow to respond but once they do they’re friendly and leave you a note about what they did.

This place looks like a dream, but recently has turned into a nightmare. This is our second year renting at the Baxter apartments and we have been confronted with continued issues. I do have to admit that the first year was fine, some issues with the air filter and the dish washer, but the kind staff made it worth living. Angela in the front is absolutely FANTASTIC, kind, professional, and thorough. Brandon, the ONLY maintenance worker for quite some time, was so kind, worked sooo HARD, and would always catch up with us. Heather, the cleaning lady, would always make everything look so beautiful
