Services
Alex J. Rodriguez came to Atlanta in 2004 after completing his education at the University of Florida. As the son of an Air Force officer, Dr. Rodriguez moved often. He was born in California, but spent time living in Virginia, Germany, Florida, Korea, and now Georgia. And although his extended family still lives in the Tampa area, Atlanta is where Dr. Rodriguez calls home.
We believe beautiful smiles begin with a focus on comfort, function, and aesthetics. We are here to help you maintain your oral health for a lifetime, and strive to educate our patients in understanding the cause of dental disease and how it can be treated or prevented in order to minimize the dental work you may need through the years.
I have a passion for working with my hands, which is why I became a dentist. When I'm not busy doing dentistry, I am a daily bicycle commuter and part-time artist whose works are now on permanent display along the Atlanta BeltLine. For ten years I lived in the nearby Reynoldstown neighborhood, but now that my wife and I have two children and have outgrown our old house, we recently moved to Ormewood Park, just three miles south of Inman Park.
Atlanta's Fox 5 WAGA has filmed thirteen different oral health news segments right here in our office! These short videos feature Dr. Rodriguez sharing his professional advice on a variety of topics, from DIY-dentistry, to tooth whitening, to gum disease, and more. Dr. Alex Rodriguez of Inman Park Dentistry discusses the link between diabetes and periodontal (gum) disease.
Local Art Decorates Our Walls; & Public Artwork by Dr. Rodriguez for the Atlanta BeltLine & the City. Our own Dr. Rodriguez is a part-time sculptor, whose works are currently on display in downtown Atlanta and along the Atlanta BeltLine's Eastside Trail.
Over the years he has had three different installations of kinetic sculpture along the BeltLine, including one that has become a permanent part of the "Art on the Atlanta BeltLine" public art exhibition.Almost all of his art involves the bicycle in some way or another.

Inman Park Dentistry is always a great experience. Repeatedly I’ve had a minor dental emergency and they always saw me within 24 hours and usually the same day. I can walk in knowing it won’t be an unpleasant experience and it is always great. The knowledge and care is better than I’ve ever experienced. I can’t recommend them more highly.

This is a great dentist's office. Dr. Butler is awesome and the staff here are accommodating, friendly, and professional. Scheduling is always a breeze. The care I get when I go in is always top notch. Street parking is easy and free. If you're looking for a fantastic dentist in town, this is the one to go to.

I’ve been going to this practice for over 5 years and the level of care and honest dentistry performed here is unlike anything I have experienced previously. Dr. Rodriguez and his staff will never try to up-sell any service unless deemed necessary for your oral health. Highly recommended! All of the hygienists are very kind and top-notch as well! They’ll rip you off and try to bill you for services you didn’t receive. Such as x-rays when you didn’t even get x-rays. They’ll also tell you one thing before your appointment and then bill you for far more than what they said. “You won’t owe anything” after they checked our insurance turned into “$133.00”.

The staff is professional, friendly and always make my visits very comfortable. I never feel any discomfort when I leave and my hygienist is always very careful. Dr. Rodriguez always meets with me after each cleaning to discuss his observations and never pressures me to have any unnecessary services performed. This team makes going to the dentist a pleasure!

I can't say enough positive things about this group. I have always had major fears about going to the dentist due to some bad experiences as a child. Dr. Rodriguez and his crew have helped me get over my phobia simply by being supportive, communicative and gentle. I've had several cleanings with them, a few crowns and an onlay. Every procedure went smoothly and I was surprised how little pain I felt. They explained everything as it was happening. They even have a recycling program for tooth brushes and empty toothpaste tubes! I highly recommend them!

I have been here a couple of times now and I can't say enough about how wonderful the staff is here. The front desk ladies are welcoming, friendly and super helpful. The dental hygienists are phenomenal...quick, painless, informed, friendly and down to earth. The doctors are honest, friendly and real.

I highly recommend and Thank Dr.Rodriguez and his staff for the absolute best dental experience I have ever had. From the moment I arrived for my appointment and was greeted by the friendly ladies up front, through X-rays and reassuring me about the fears I had for feeling pain during the procedure. The distraction of noise canceling headset and TV, enough numbing agent so I didn’t feel anything.. Both Dr. Rodriguez and his assistant are highly skilled and have a warm and reassuring presence.. I can’t thank you enough for the great experience..

Just finished my 3rd appointment with Iman and I have to say that they have a client for life. They got me in immediately and successfully addressed an emergency issue.
I have to admit I made my first appt for a cleaning because my fiance' recommended them. I had work done because they accepted my insurance. I will now continue to go to Iman because of how they responded to this emergency, and the incredibly consistent customer service.
A big plus - Iman is much closer to my neighborhood than my previous dentist in Buckhead. Oh, and I can't say enough about the staff and service.

We choose Inman park dentistry initially because it was so darn close to our house. We are really happy our hate of driving worked out in our favor in this case. The people are here are extremely friendly and helpful. One of their best features is the 7 am appointments. I have never had to wait more then 10 minutes or so which is incredible. Ive had two different hygienists and both were thorough.

The most amazing dentist I have ever been to. This place is conveniently located and has awesome hours (they open at 7 am- I can go to the dentist and be to work by 9!)
Every time I call, the front staff are kind, professional and knowledgeable. The doctors are no different. They always are upfront about their (affordable) costs and plan of action. Love this place!

I chipped a tooth and they got me in exactly when I needed to get in between my work schedule. Monica is always amazing when you walk in the door. Dawn was friendly and very skilled. And when Dr. Rodriguez and Dawn were working together in my mouth they were so in sync with one another that I was in awe. I will tell everyone I know about Inman Park Dentistry.
