Have been going to this place for the last several years. Mari has been my hairdresser. However, called this place twice in the last week and trying to make an appointment. Have yet to get a call back. Not sure what is going on.
A month later and here is an update. Mari called me back herself and we set up an appointment. She apologized for the front desk since she never even received a notice about my calls. She did a fantastic job on my hair as always. She certainly deserves a 5 star for her work. But I am taking off one not because of Mari but because of the front desk. Thanks Mari

For the past five years my hair has been looking and feeling great thanks to one person, ASHLEY!
She has taken me from strawberry blond, to brunette, to a deep red, and now i'm rockin my wannabe Shakira dream hair thanks to her! Ashley knows her color chemistry and I wish i knew her secret to keeping my hair silky smooth when i leave the salon. :)
I can't wait for my next appointment. I always feel pampered when I walk into Ecco, everyone at this salon is kind and professional.

I'm originally from Toronto and good hair stylists are a dime a dozen, however finding someone I trusted was ridiculously hard here.
I have fine hair that breaks easily and my greys have a life of their own so I'm basically getting color every 4 weeks - super healthy for your hair right!
After jumping from one stylist to another at various salons I finally found Ashley!!!! Thank God! She's a color pro, patient, professional and knows her craft. She won't oversell you, will do what's right for your hair and somehow knows the exact hue of color you are trying to describe

Ashley is a sweet person. She was my hair stylist and she fried the heck out of my hair. Sadly, I'm STILL dealing with the aftermath after cutting my hair twice and almost a year ago now. Also, she blocked me on Instagram (no idea why?) I never contacted her through it. My hair was damaged before I saw her but as a professional, you should let your clients know if your service will fry the hair to the point of it breaking off upon touch and feeling like clay/gum. I paid my bill, tipped her, left, and then regrets...

This was my first time at Ecco and I must say, Ashley is amazing!!! She took my brassy, blotchy hair and gave me a beautiful color with a ton of dimension. I had no idea what to ask for or what I wanted so I left it up to her and am so glad I did! She was even able soften my really choppy layers and take off the dry, dead ends. Thanks Ashley! I can't wait to come back.

I had my hair done before at another salon, but the end result was not what I had envisioned so I was a little scared coming in, but I am so glad I did. My hair was done by Ashley and I am in love with it! I would definitely recommend her if you're thinking about getting your hair done. She was amazing and went exactly by the inspiration pictures I sent her.

I am very picky when it comes to hair coloring due to past mistakes with other hair dressers.. my sister comes here all the time and gets her hair coloring and cut by Ashley! So I went and gave it a shot. OMG IM IN LOVE WITH MY HAIR. I had damaged brown hair and she gave me the jet blue black with some cute funky blue strands. Ugh! I love it. She always took her time. Washed my hair and gave an amazing scalp massage. will be coming back to retouch and get a trim again. You rock Ashley!

Pretty rude, receptionist didn't even let me reschedule before blowing me off. I wasn't familiar with the workers yet so I didn't make an appointment with a specific person, just a time. When I tried to reshedule the lady didn't take me seriously or something because I didn't give her the name of the stylist and just hung up on me! So I chose to just not to reschedule at all and went somewhere else. Regardless of the worker's skills, I want a place that makes me feel welcomed or at least lets me actually make an appointment.

This is by far one of the coolest hair salons around! I have been here a couple of times now and have had my hair cut by Rosie, who by far has been really great in cutting my hair. She is knowledgeable with her recommendations on how to maintain my hair and has given me great advice on how to style my hair.
Guys! If you need a clean cut by a barber who knows her craft, I would recommend you book Rosie next time you are do.
I will certainly be coming back to "ecco" and Rosie!

Another amazing job by Ashley! I've been going to her for over a year now and every time I leave the salon, I'm so happy! She normally touches up my balayage but today we decided to do something fun and add a little pink. She also lightened my root color and I'm obsessed with it!

Another amazing hair day by Anna. My hair is super thick and unruly. It's at the point where I cannot wash it myself anymore, let alone style it!
Anna has been managing my hair for over a year. She did a Brazilian blowout three months from the current picture. I do root touch ups every 2-3 weeks. Always a fantastic job and my hair is super smooth and healthy. Cannot be more pleased!

Ecco hair studio feels like a spa. I've been coming here for almost 4 years now, which is the longest I've stayed with any hair studio. I like coming to Ecco because it is a very trendy and modern salon with the most friendly workers ever. Parking is always super easy because street parking is plentiful and they have a small private lot.

I love coming here! I have spent long hours here lol but well worth it and wouldnt have anyone else do my hair but TIM! Hes always done my hair and i have never been let down! Last yr is when i decided to go lighter and he does a great job each time i get in the chair. So good at balayage and blending! I absolutely love ECCO!

I called about a haircut and I was told it started at $55. I said I wanted a junior stylist to get the $55 rate.
When I arrived, I liked the hip and cozy neighborhood vibe. My stylist was friendly and she saw me right away.
When it came to the quality of her work, it was ok. Not bad. Not great. She cleaned up my frayed ends but the layers she cut were choppy, not well blended.
After my cut, I went to pay and she charged me $65. I guess they pull the old "price starts at" game but it's still annoying to not be told the correct price before they start cutting.

Attractive, relaxed salon. Have been coming here for years and now my adult son is a regular too. All of their stylists are excellent: Mari, Kim, Nicolai are top notch. My son likes Nicki's fades. Mari spent hours patiently correcting a horrible dye job accident of mine and got me ready for a huge important event. She saved me from a big disaster. And there's always coffee, tea, cookies and ice water for their customers.

I've been coming here for a few years. Definitely a high end salon. Karina used to cut my hair & she was great at it. She can do both modern & chick or classic & elegant looks. I had mentioned I wanted to try extensions and she did not hesitate to recommend Mandy. Now I've been happily wearing my extensions for the second year in a row and absolutely love Mandy's top notch work. I get compliments on my hair all of the time & nobody can ever guess it's not real.
