I am the ninth of ten children, born and raised in Austin. I love living here and it is an exciting adventure to watch the past and present growth in the city. I feel the "charm" of the city remains because the people that I work with could live anywhere in the nation, but "choose" Austin as home. It is an urban, laid back life style.

After a very unsatisfying experience with a different agency, we were introduced to Carol Dochen who linked us up with Dana Epstein. Dana was so amazing! She was responsive, caring, and took initiative to helps us find the house that was right for our family in a very tough market when houses were flying off the market faster than offers could get in! I bid on a condo, only to find during inspection that it had termites in doorway and ceiling. I offered to wait four months to close in order for termite issue to be resolved and ceiling repaired, but Seller's agent insisted on closing immediately. Seller had not disclosed termites and refused to refund option money. I brought this to the attention of Carol Dochen. Carol thanked me for relaying this to her, and wrote me a check for the option money. Although Seller's agent was not ethical, Dochen did the right thing. That's how you maintain a good and solid reputation. Thank you Carol!

We worked with Nancy Taute to find our house, and she was great. We love the new place, and her advice on the bid to offer was invaluable. Also, she is super-helpful after the sale, and provided us with a lot of pointers about the new area and a list of contractors to use. Arlene Maze got us our home! As first-time homebuyers, we were initially intimidated by the whole process, especially during the coronavirus pandemic. Denny has been our realtor on 3 of our houses and 3 friends homes. Now days their are so many part time or incapable realtors. Denny is a true professional, who really cares about you and what you want.
