I have lived at the Bluffs for 15 years. The HOA fee has nearly doubled with 3/4 of the service provided. The HOA has same day snow removal problems stating that their "crew" was busy as the storm was large. It happens every time. It would be nice to have a "crew" that is dedicated to same day service when it is really needed and not tolerate next day service. I've had a leaking inside garage wall for years and the fix was never corrected - still leaking today. I've put in several requests to repair the damage stucco on the older part of the the outside townhomes with no action. Several requests

I can’t believe what they charge for the HOA fee and what do I get??? Notices of charges because my dog was barking in the MIDDLE OF THE DAY! Late opening of the pool(July instead of may) because they couldn’t fix the pool cover!! They don’t remove the snow from the roads and we have to remove it from our driveways and walk ways. The lawns are poorly maintained and they NEVER CALL BACK when I have a problem!! WORST HOA EVER!! As soon as I can I am getting out of this hoa communist rule!
AND OF COURSE THEY COME BACK WITH A SNARKY RESPONSE!!!

I manage property in 10 different HOAs. Of the various hired HOA managers (and some self-managed HOAs) Desert Edge is my least favorite. I care for 2 units in Clearfield Meadows and 1 in Millstream. Desert Edge messes up my billing every month in Clearfield Meadows and there is poor communication regarding common area concerns in Millstream.
In Clearfield Meadows I have been asking them to correct a violation for the last 2+ years. They have yet to enforce this violation even though the CC&Rs are quite clear.
I feel that other HOA managers provide better communication, service, and value.

Probably the worst HOA company you could ever come in contact with, which most can’t speak highly of any. The best thing about moving was getting out from underneath their reign. I can’t think of a single organization that adds less value and takes more from the members. Additionally strong nepotism exist among company directors and board members of residents, strong conflict of interest. I’d pay more for my HOA if I knew it was going back in my pocket 10x. Green space that is never green, just brown with weeds. Green space removed and prices increase. They’ll struggle to tell you where

I live at the Midvalley Townhomes and it's turned into a cheap apartment complex since Desert Edge took over. People are constantly parking on the streets even though it's against the law and Desert Edge has done NOTHING to stop them. When I moved into the complex 7 years ago it was very nice because the HOA cared about keeping it nice. Desert Edge does a horrible job and does nothing when notified. Not surprised they have bad ratings.

If I could give negative stars I would. This is the most unprofessional, inconsiderate management company that I’ve ever had to deal with. The Bluffs HOA is an absolute train wreck, and Desert Edge takes zero responsibility. Their metro security officers roam the streets like it’s Compton, and they hand out tickets like it’s fliers to the state fair. One offense of using your parking pass more than two days in a week results in instant fines. Oh, and did I mention that more than half of the parking spots are typically open, but nobody can use them due to fear of the metro gestapo. The HOA

Desert Edge Property Management has been professional and friendly. When I contact my representative, he is quick to get back to me and answer any questions. They help manage our little community and help the HOA board communicate to our owners about important issues as needed.
I have enjoyed working with the Desert Edge team.

As an HOA Board member, we have used Desert Edge Property Management group for many years. In my four years working with them, I have found them very responsive whenever we have had problems. We have some unique property issues and some difficult residents. They have worked very professionally and tirelessly to help us get these issues under control. I am not surprised there are some poor reviews. Some people do not like following the rules and regulations necessary when you share common areas. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a management company to help your community.
