We are forever grateful for Sonoma Marin Property Management . They never respond and have poor customer service. They showed up without notice and can’t handle getting an estimate on a security deposit refund. Terrible experience. It has been a year and we are still suffering from using them as our property management.

Find another realtor. Meliza charged us for repairs on an old house we rented that were there before we moved in, and she did the same to the previous tenants (who warned us on the day we moved in how awful they were getting treated). Having to go through the Courts now to get our money back. DO NOT RENT from Sonoma Marin. Very disappointed with our experience and how we’ve been treated.

The experience was a nightmare. My son and his roommates had payed deposit plus the 3500.00 first months rent before receiving the keys and conducting a thorough walk through. Upon entering the property the place was a complete disaster. Carpets soaking wet, place was filthy, multiple safety issues inside and outside. How ashamed this place should feel to know they are in the business of taking advantage of young adults. People should be put before profits. Sorry to have such negative words but these are young adults that were going to be taken advantage of. This is not ethical or acceptable. Please

My friend and I rented a property from this management with Meliza Pitkin for our senior year of college, and we absolutely loved it! Meliza is so wonderful--she is quick with responses, helpful with any maintenance requests, and always returns phone calls promptly. We never had a problem getting a hold of her. Renting this property was so easy--we initially were looking at another apartment, but she suggested this one when it became available, and made the application/move in process a breeze! I have never had such a terrible experience in my life. Never received return calls. I had to make repeat phone calls. I spoke with three different people, all of whom said they would have to see what was going on with the rentals. I expressed urgency in getting a place. They I was advise not one but two of the houses we were looking at were not willing to accept co-signors. I was also advised the home owner had to approve the tenants. Being that I have rental property, I have never heard of such a thing. Talked with my property manager and she said the same thing.

They never got back to the four of us 6 different times we would reach out. They gave us a 90 day notice (5 days after adding someone to the lease) and right after increased the house price by approximately $1,200.
They were extremely unprofessional and did everything they could to prevent us from getting even half of our deposit.
We were all either students/part time workers and full time workers. None of us spent much time at the house and they did everything possible to not give us any money back.
They are sneaky, so be careful!
